Same with the Armada(Micron Legends) figures as well as the Energon(Superlinl) figures and Transformers Cybertron figures(Galaxy Force).
Tfp too bro. 3rd party shall do justice for Transformers prime toy series.

The problem with Lugnut wasn’t that he was a small voyager. It was that he was small for Lugnut. Lugnut was a massive bruiser in the show so the figure looks massively out of proportion.

That Voyager Prime was actually in ideal condition. The deluxe’s axe was more animation accurate so getting it with the voyager is perfect!
TFA figures were a bit polarizing when they first came out. I’m glad it’s gotten a lot of love over the years.
Watch out for Swindle, he has a bit of a problem with clear plastic. Handle with great care, since there was quite a lot of breakage issues.
Those toys are really sweet and great that we can get reviews with good quality.
Yes, I’ve heard stories of the translucent plastic disintegrating.

The stories are true. Only had this one on display, and both shoulders eventually gave, cracked and broke in half making this the only TFA I own that is undisplayable.
I've had my Swindle in vehicle mode for like ten years, packed away. It's a shame, I love that guy but i've heard some horror stories. He's in my closet in a box with the rest of the Animated stuff.
Leader Ultra Magnus is great, and worth getting a hold of.Make sure you look online how to transform Snarl, as the instructions skipped some steps on getting the dino head flush in robot mode.
I think Voyager Optimus was my fave. Also, although the backpack is big, Wreck-Gar's robot mode just had so much charm to it I still loved it.
Leader Ultra Magnus! That was another one he was missing!
Animated was so good, we didn't deserve it...the show was top tier exploring a fresh take of the Autobot/Decepticon war, and the toyline was really solid being both animation accurate and having good articulation of high quality.
I miss these animated figures. Reminds me of all the days I used to wake up very early just to watch the show as a kid
That Lugnut is a regular Hasbro release. I have it from new. Great haul, that animated Safeguard (Jetfire and Jetstorm combined) is an absolute gem. Such a cool and rare figure.

I envy you. I was never able to get a majority of these as a kid and a lot of the ones I did get haven’t survived very well. Hope you do do reviews of them, updated reviews for animated figures would be nice. Especially to see them compared to new figures

This was blast from the past, I had some of these guys growing up and to see them again is so cool
Hell yeah dude! Ya know, I don't often try to get every character in a show but I loved Animated so much that it is still my most complete collection (of characters in the show) where I had pretty much every toy to represent every character aside from a few like Cybertron Optimus, Ironhide and Cybertron Ratchet. But I got like 99% of em. First one I ever bought, the one that got me into the series was Prowl. I totally wrote the show off, had no interest, bought the toy on a whim and was floored by the toy.
With how good Animated is as a toyline, the only real change 3rd parties can make is just adding articulation. That's it. They're near perfect as is. Just one thing to push it over the edge of greatness. That plus improving Blitzwing's alt modes' cohesion
Leader Bulkhead could definitely be improved by removing some gimmicks and extraneous parts honestly.
None of them need more articulation, their articulation is universally amazing.
Definitely need to rewatch the series. So glad Animated is getting some love. This was the transformers I grew up watching after I got into to the franchise by the Bay film.
Quick heads up: Blitzwing has his biceps on the wrong arms. The slits in the tan part need to be on the outside. It's really easy to switch and it makes the jet come together correctly.

Great haul! I honestly didn't care for the show at all when it first released mainly due to the character designs. However, I went back to give it another shot (it's free on Tubi, by the way, as well as several of the other series) and was genuinely impressed at how good it was! Very different than what I was used to but really very well written and well animated! Go back and check it out!
Blurr! By far the coolest blurr ever in transformers and his figure captures him perfectly!

You’ll definitely want to try and nab Animated Blackout. Pretty sure it’s hard to find though. So that sucks. Character has some insane lore in the TFA universe. Absolute monster.
I love my Animated figures! Their designs are unique and they look great. You can see that they can do cartoon accurate, and as you mentioned, they don’t feel cheap. A treasure of a haul you got yourself!
You need to get Blurr ! Such an amazing figure and very fateful to his onscreen appearance.
Transformer animated use to be my childhood i watched it alot as a little kid and i love all of the chracters

So glad to see you getting into these. I’d read somewhere the toys were made alongside the animators resulting in some of those most accurate Transformers toys ever. Some like of the gimmicks like Optimus’s spin in the transformation apparently come from the show transformations as well. I would love to see reissues of these and the Prime line like we have gotten for G1 and Beast Wars.
I was always surprised at how good the figures were. Especially with the leg designs and how they supported some of the giant backpacks. Out of the entire line leader class megaton and ultra magnus were probably my favourite figures
My favourites in a row are:
Slag: kibble is so managed and I never even noticed the head till you talked about it!
Optimus: the design is amazing and a really cool battlemask gimmick.
Prowl: kibble is managed so well and a cool bike mode
For Beastwars being in Animated. Rattrap made a cameo but no toy and Cheetor only exclusive as a toy. In Animated, Elita-1 was bitten by alien spiders turning her into Blackarachnia. Waspinator was the Bumblebee copy instead of Cliffjumper and was Bumblebee's rival back in Cybertron. He was turned into the monstrous Wasp due to Elita-1/Blackarachnia

Just got animated prowl yesterday, he’s such a good figure! I’ve only got a few more characters to get before I’ve completed the mainline of figures. Glad you were able to get some more figures man! Phenomenal video as always PvP

Honestly if someone upscaled the Deluxe version of Optimus Prime to be Leader Class, I would be up for that. the transformation is so much more involved than the Voyager and Supreme classes.
Also: I used to own Swindle, as good as a figure as he was, you're right about the transparent plastic being fragile.
Jetstorm is the blue, Jetfire the white. They did come in a two-pack, along with a comic book explaining their origin story!
I'm happy your looking at the animated figures this is probably my favorite tf show as a kid and the figures I have is that lugnet and bulkhead, there really underrated characters wish we could see them in another tf media again

Nice! I went through all my animated toys when I visited home for Christmas. They do hold up well, and I adore their style. Very few bad toys among the lot of them
TFA is the GREATEST love letter to the whole damn thing. Side note: Wreck Gar was voiced by Weird Al Yankovic....Dare to Be Stupid....86 Movie....Stanly Kubrick style...

TF collection off. I just picked up a sealed cybertronian Optimus and it’s pure nostalgia I love it. Ordered voyager Optimus used as well for a good price. Definitely would love to see you review these

Congrats on the epic haul. Some really good figs in that line up. Really happy to see you got Prime, and the Dinobots though the rest are quite good too. Always loved the Lugnut mold only found this by accuracy should have, and always been a Leader class figure as he was the largest of the Decepticons I think. As accurate as Starscream is owning both him, and Skywarp my main gripe with this figure is both the autotransformation, and the fingers not being pinned properly allowing them to fall off easily.

That TFA Soundwave I thought was Skids for a second. I guess Soundwave decided to rip him off, being superior to the Autobots, after all.
I love the “evil reindeer” design of shockwave!

The armour Prowl figure is one of the greatest figures ever made. I still have most of my Animated figures in a box somewhere, including the Takara Blackout.
So many of these figures are really cool. There are so many I want and will probably pick up.
This was fun to hear a youngster like you talk about Animated, and your first experience with most of these toys. They were a different league back then! I still have all of my Animated figures, but they're typically in a box since they don't quite fit in with my generations set up. But every time I pull them out it's a time of reverence.... great figures, great characters, AMAZING show. Definitely give it a solid watch, try and be patient with season one. Haha
It's worth getting through it for Seasons Two and Three, for sure!!!!

I have that blitzwing and several others in a box somewhere and he's an absolute belter. The Grimlok is great as well. Waspinator if I recall has flapping wings. A fantastic range of figures. Have to dig them out.
Prowl would be a cool place to start. Long arm/shockwave holds a spot in my heart.

honestly, I've never liked animated in terms of the style of the characters' appearances, and I'm generally silent about the plot, they didn't even make the ending there, so now it's not clear how it ended
I still think the figures can be appreciated nicely tho
More animated figures!! I hope you do a review on one of the dino bots preferably grimlock as they had one of the most unique designs and characteristics in the show

Nice haul PrimeVsPrime!! My favorites of these Animated figures include, Wreck-Gar, Blitzwing, Sentinel Prime, Jazz, Soundwave, and Shockwave. My all time favorite figure from the Animated line is Lockdown, since I enjoy how he "transforms" from a deluxe sized muscle car to a voyager class sized robot and mose of his vehicle mode "disappears" into his robot mode. (i.e. no robot mode kibble) Keep on being amazing.
Still got my TFA Dinobots that I got when I was 9, happily displayed in my cabinet.
my favourite thing about the animated Soundwave figure is that he has ankle rocket joints, he may be the only animated figure that has proper ankle rockets
While I will always praise the TFA toys for their accuracy, they did like many transformers lines suffer from some inaccuracy in accessories that werent used in the show. Prowl coming with a street light is one example of that. Though the show did make some efforts to remedy that, such as giving Lugnut the hammer his toy had in later seasons.
Totally need them all😂 this is the first series that I truly want all of them

The axe that comes with the Deluxe Prime is way more animation accurate, and scales perfectly with the Voyager Prime for show accuracy so most collectors display their Voyager Prime with the Deluxe Primes axe.
Shockwave was my personal favourite in this line... Love both his Decepticon and Autobot forms.... Also I almost wanna grab that OP in a hobby store till the store owner recommended me to grab the Wing Bladed version instead, so I did....
The Prowl street light is a reference to Ryu always carrying his duffle bag over his shoulder... that's how Prowl should hold it. As for Animated being underrated... since when? It's widely considered the best alternate-Transformers interpretation of all time isn't it? RIP Derrick. Much love.
The Voyager Bulkhead is way better than the Leader version, except perhaps being a little small. But then the leader is out of scale and too big...
For the jettwins the blue one is jetstorm and the orange one is jetfire. I remember watching tfa as a kid and this just hit me with nostalgia. Looking forward to your future tfa videos.
I will admit when the show first was shown I thought it was going to be horrid due to the art style. As it went all I was happily surprised and impressed with the story. and I was blown away by the toys. I hope that Legacy line, or the studio series, could bring them back
Makes me want to give the show a go, though I really really don't like the character models at all. If the story is good I'll watch, just no toys for me.
I really enjoyed animated. Probably one of the best Tf series out there. It's sad it got canceled.

@@smhbrayDen From what I understand it's not so much a large scale war as it is a small skirmish between a few characters like Beast Wars. I did hear it ends on a cliffhanger though
that and transformers prime. those 2 series are the most recent good examples of a show. great plots all over. and importantly: character growth
TFA was the Beast Machines that succeeded. Both came out of the mad mind of Marty Isenberg and he took a lot of design and story elements from BM to TFA. The funny thing and that some TFA fans hate BM, even though they are so alike.

Animated will always be one of my favourite Transformers toy lines. The first ever Transformers toy I owned was Animated Grimlock. Just like the TV series, it's a shame the toy line wasn't completed. However, I asked a member of the Transformers brand team at a Hasbro Pulse panel last year about the unreleased Animated toys getting released as a vintage line like G1 and Beast Wars, and they said to stay tuned.
I wish i had theses because this was the first transformer show I watch when I was 4 years old

The TFA Ultra Magnus is one of the best transformers figures I own. He’s huge, chunky, and sturdy. He’s also a good counterpart to the black helicopter Megatron.
Transformers Animated had the BEST intro
Really happy to see you doing Animated reviews, PVP, as they're some of my favorite designs in the entire Transformers franchise! :D Sadly, I've never picked up any since I didn't collect Transformers toys at the time (or at least as far as I can remember), so, unfortunately, I missed out on them, and that's such a shame too considering that the figures are (at least mostly) in terms of plastic quality, vastly superior over most of the TF figures that are out there right now as they don't feel like they're gonna break anytime soon, and I miss toys that were solidly built, and felt that they were built to last, as opposed to today where the vast majority, if not most of them are made out clear plastic, transparent plastic, or even just plain cheap plastic in certain area, and can very easily shatter, or are made out white plastic that easily yellows even straight out of their boxes, or both. Animated was also an excellent series despite me not watching a lot of it when it was on at the time (if memory serves me right), and the best TF cartoon from the 2000's in my opinion! The Transformers designs despite being stylized are still recognizable from their debut series, and are very cool looking, and unique, great characters, excellent cast of voice actors with even returning ones reprising their roles from their original shows, fantastic plot, gorgeous animation, etc.! Unfortunately, despite Season 4 being initially planned, Animated was ultimately cancelled, thus, leaving the show on a cliffhanger... :'( There's even a recent video discussing the potential of Transformers Animated's fourth season could've turned out, it was even posted on the exact same day, and month of the show's original US airing, that being December 26, 2007 (shame it wasn't on Christmas Day, that would've been a treat! Man I really wish I collected more of these as a kid. The only TFA figures I ever got are Leader Class Bulkhead, Leader Class Ultra Magnus, and Supreme Class Roll Out Command Optimus Prime. Alongside some of the TFA Bumper Battlers toys.
If I recall correctly, with the jet twins, the blue one is Jetstorm, and the orange one is Jetfire. Also, those bits on the front of their shins should be folded outwards for jet mode.
For some of these figures, you can probably find the transformation here on YT, like the jet twins.
cant wait for the prowl review, (prowl was my favorite) but i think we need to get you the rest of the animated toy line

I recommend you watch Transformers Animated. Sure, there are a few filler episodes that are forgettable. But overall one of the best animated Transformers series, IMO.
I remember I how much I wanted that bulkhead figure:(. There was one girl in my kindergarten that had it and I played with it all the time.
Just seen your vid. Very cool. I have the Megatron with fusion missiles and speaks, saying crush the autobots, where is the allspark and laughs, fully boxed. Brought it from Argos back in the day.
Really Hope that APC Toys gives these Figures a sort of Reissue once they finished Prime, i want those Figures...
