Local government gravel road. Same road as in the previous video. I cleaned the old ditch, which is overgrown. The length of the ditch is 230 meters. Video can see the old drainage pipe, which someone probably put in, hoping that the water will drain better. But over time, these pipes overgrow and no longer function. All the water flows from the ditch into the pond. In winter, cornering is probably fun driving 😀😀

That’s a great ditch till you slide off in it, then only option is getting pulled out. Should move a lot of water though and won’t need cleaned out again in our lifetime. Excellent job though.

No, there was no water. But the ground in the ditch was so wet because groundwater comes from the hill. As I cleaned the ditch, the groundwater gradually began to flow. But nothing much😉

After cleaning those ditches will anything be put in place to retard the flow of water? That looks like a steep grade. The water will move very quickly down the ditch.
Nothing will be installed in the ditches to retain water. The water is probably flowing very fast because there is a big fall.
This ditch wasn't cleaned since Napoleon
