Nice vid but had to stop 1/2 way. The music was driving my Adhd crazy. Lol
It kept making me fall asleep lol
Consider removing background music. At least when the instructor is speaking. It's distracting.
Thanks for the comment Shwana. It is very constructive. We will follow it on our future videos.
Good video but can you make the music softer, cannot hear what you are saying
How did you get the model out of the first half of the mold, where silicone rubber was cured around arms and legs of the model?
Most important part
A cut from the inside. Block molds for this size and type aren't ideal and very wasteful of silicone. A glove mold would work best, with a mother-mold, and allows easier access to the silicone between the leg and ankle. It leaves only one seam at the back for minimum visibility.
The music is making me feel unwell. But great video
Was that Doyle from sling blade on gee taur?😅
I like the idea of using Acorn Nuts, locks in the layers. But instead of $20-30 worth of acorn nuts, why not just one mounted on a bolt or dowel and press it in the first layer of clay?
Hi would you have any idea what resin they use for those cheap mass produced Chinese figurines / statues etc
They use polyester resin. It is the same resin used in fiberglass
it wouldn't surprise me as polyester resin one of the low cost resin's as they use polyester resin in the marine industry for repairs, but I find this mold making and resin casting interesting
Boss, saya mau tanya klau buat cetakan cilicone.
Klau cilicone 1gelas catalisnya berapa ml?
Most tin cure silicones use about 10% catalyst.
30 minutes of great information but skipped the seams under the leg and arm. Also, I agree the music was frustrating to deal with. Shame because there was so much food information.
Music?. Why?
Had we known you would be viewing this video, we certainly would have considered the special silent Smuggins filter, But alas, it never occurred to us. Happy Thanksgiving!
Came down here to say the same. This beat is looped way too much. Its too loud too.. I'm not saying the guy who made this video needs to be an expert in video production. Just.. maybe avoid that type of editing in the future. Makes watching this a headache.
@@teachingpress1374 Try engaging the sarcasm filter while you're at it.
why waste so much rubber? could have used a fraction of that
The music is horrendous. The Video is totally unwatchable The Japanese used to play audio like this to the POW prisoners during the war...It was called torture
its because youre old
😅
I was thinking I’d be hearing that damn plucking in my sleep..
Awfull drone of music with this video. In fact it spoilt it completely.

That annoying repetitive jungle rock music is far far too painful to continue watching this video. I know it's a few years old but in going to have to check another source for this info, I tried. 😢😮
Many thanks for your attempt. We have some wonderful how-to books that are silent :-)
I really wanted to see how you did the hollow sections with gaps like the ankle. You totally skipped over it. Also the list of materials was a bit annoying as it wasted time and the music was unnecessary. Didn't learn what I wanted to know at all from this video
The same wired music for half an hour,- drove me mad.... sory this would have been great, just with the voice over. And a cast like this could have been done for a fraction of the price by making a glove mould with a support mould. And the casting would be even better using a slush casting. But this is your way of doing it.
Had we known that you would have come by and viewed our video we would have taken an entirely different approach to the music. Please let us know next time you plan to watch so we can be more discerning.
Not as easy as it looks.
The video explains the steps of a multi-part mold - it is a more complicated mold making method. But with more practice the easier it becomes.
The music makes this unwatchable..
Hey David, we apologize for our taste in music. Had we known that you would be in the audience we would have reached out to you for your advice on a selection that would be more pleasing to you. Since you couldn't watch the video. We can summarize it as a how-to video on mold making and resin casting using 2-part silcone. Thanks so much for the time you took to comment. We always appreciate hearing from our viewers.
please please please stop the music
All you need to do is to click mute 🙂 It is that easy.
