Sadly, Nigerians think that Democracy is political drama.
Here in Canada, Democracy and politics are about job creation, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services. State and Federal leadership focus on economic well-being of the State, instead of Party politics.
Economic well-being enhances quality of life, breeds happiness and contentment, and brings peace and security. This is what makes a society Advanced.
Sadly, Nigerian media does not know that every time a Governor talks, they must answer questions about how they are improving the life of their people by creating jobs, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services. A Governor is no longer an actor in a political drama or party politics. He is a steward of a State.

Your comment is exactly the misconception that has wrecked Nigeria.
Governorship is not an opportunity or license to luxuriate in the wealth of the land. State and Federal leadership are about job creation, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services.
Your mindset allows Nigeria's leadership to openly live in lavish luxuries. And the suffering masses views it as normal.
The other day, I saw a video of Tinubu's convoy on CZcams. I couldn't believe that such wasteful extravaganza would be allowed by Nigeria's suffering masses.
But, as you say, it's his turn to enjoy.
