"And now, something from Argentina: La Danza de la moza donosa by Alberto Ginastera."
Argentina has not forgotten him, this son of the city, leading conductor and pianist, and indefatigable campaigner for international understanding through the spirit of music. On the night of 19 August 2000, they came en masse, like pilgrims, to the time-honoured Teatro Colón just to listen to him.
At last their adored idol steps on to the stage - to perform again in his native city half a century after his first public appearance. The multitude rises and sings for him. Three hours and thirteen encores later, he can find no other way of disengaging himself from the ecstatic throng than to point out that the Teatro Colón must close its doors at midnight. One last piece, and then he goes - ending what has surely been one of the most memorable evenings in the Argentinian capital's concert history. - Hudba

Queridos todos, esta grabacion es un lujo: La composicion es tan sencilla por momentos, tan complicada en otros, bella en todos sus pasajes!! Sin duda un orgullo para Argentina y para la America. Por otro lado, la interpretacion de Barenboim es exquisita, tan delicada, tan emotiva y profunda, enaltece a esa hermosa composicion, un gran maestro de la musica! No sabia que paso su infancia en Argentina, eso explica que pueda interpretar la pieza con un corazon criollo!

La vuelvo a escuchar y me encanta mas , la Danza de la moza donosa del Mtro Ginastera construida , si no me equivoco , con armonía atonal y magistralmente interpretada por ese gran Mtro de todos conocido del mundo de la música !!!
No, esta obra no tiene nada de atonal.
No es atonal, sino que usa extensiones del acorde y disonancias
