    Kind of makes me wonder when we were younger. We used to swim in mountain creeks, which were easily in the 50° range. We were thin as rails and always starving. I wonder if swimming in the cold water activated this type of fat in our bodies I wonder if that’s why swimming is such a good exercise overall besides, it’s low impact nature and using many of the bodies muscular systems, perhaps lowering your body temperature while in the water also helps with this brown fat activity

    Dr.. Lee, i was so heartened by this vid. I have written to your institute in hopes of getting more and updated data in solving my type 2 diabetic issues. Truthfully, I have gotten sendentary and lazy- driving my blood sugar through the roof. I am planning on spending alot of time "cold". I hope your institute can help and advise me. Thanks for the new hope. I am currently 55 y/o 5' 9" ave 190 lbs. and really do not eat much in the way of carbs, spend most of my time hungry, though i drink ALOT of water. I am the caregiver to a wife who had her kidneys removed due to PKD, which kinda leaves me in near constant anxiety and irregular in my sleep patterns.

      James Staples V my dear brother my heart goes out to you! Also I don’t know if you have heard of or have researches cold freeze treatments but I just bought the blue fat freeze belt and have been blown away by the results so far and I’m only on week 2. You don’t have to spend 4 hundred dollars like I did though, there are lots of research and real people who have videos on cooling the entire body or just certain sections. Just make sure not to go down the rabbit hole of the idiots who don’t know what there talking about on giving DYI videos. You know just use good judgement and NEVER EVER use cold packs directly on your skin! Also if you need any help finding the info, just click on my pic to comment directly back to me and I’ll help as much as I can. :) Jesus Bless you!

    I looked this up online. Brown fat is stimulated by Secretin in stomach. Secretin is triggered by Gastric acid, HCL. From another source, I found out that people like me, who have Blood type A, do not produce enough gastric acid. Neither do smokers or drinkers. If you have been chubby all your life, even as a child, that's a big reason why. Lack of gastric acid leads to hunger between meals, gas, bloating, skin diseases and acne, autoimmune disorders and leaky gut syndrome. Apple cider vinegar, omega 3's, lemon juice, and supplements of digestive enzymes help.

    I'm listening to Dr. Lee for the first several minutes and I'm hearing high fat diet being blamed for obesity, diabetes and fatty liver. Non of which are related to a high fat diet, but rather a diet high in sugar and or carbs. High levels of insulin r/t too much sugar is responsible for fatty liver.

    • @nonfictionone
      @nonfictionone Před 2 lety

      scientists need mice with diabetes for use in diabetes research. So how do they give them diabetes? High fat diet. A twins study where one twin was put on protein carbs and the other twin was put on protein fat. The protein fat twin started racing towards diabetes. Japan and china eat white rice all day long. Historically very very low levels of diabetes. India eats white rice all day long. Historically very very high levels of diabetes - high fat diet. Those are the facts. Fat is the cause of type 2 diabetes. There are two types of people. People who utilise information, and 'believers' so you can ignore it or you can act on it.
