I think demeter is easily way more viable than the mender now because of the shield, higher firepower and hp and also a bit more speed. Also mender is completely useless cause of the rust but demeter can still provide the shield and if you run the legacy pilot for 20% more damage.
The legendary pilot only works if you teleport

Seeing manni use demeter as a demeter main myself makes me so happy
I've been running a MK2 lvl 4 Demi for 10 months to support my team. we absolutely love it. It's such a cool feeling to be able save friends on the battlefield at the last minute and help turn a bad situation into win. Also if you can't afford the latest Meta and/or upgrade bots and weapons to Mk3 then a Demeter still has an amazing ability to affect the game even in Champ league. Invest your limited resources well in a great drone like Kestral or even Glider and pilot skills and you will have a great Bot that is surprisingly tough to kill and can pack a punch with the right weapons (currently i run 3 UA orkans Mk2). But my favorite thing is everyone loves to play with you and really appreciates the support which is the best thing about this game. Playing together and fighting hard to win. Mender helps immensely own team if used properly.
I used to love the game when rogatka with tarran or orkan or a griffin was the only meta and it lasted long time now a days the game is just like spamming abilities

I‘m surprised we didn’t get a Weber Ultimate Spectre Video yet, it’s so good, especially considering that the Weber is actually only 7% weaker than Gauss. This is insane cuz no Crisis will reach this level of damage even with overpower ability since the UE Spectre gets like 70-80% damage increase from pilot skills and it’s ascend ability alone.

67.25% extra damage during the descend ability, plus 5% 2x, from master gunsmith and booster, and maybe 3.2% from gunsmith(not master gunsmith). There are other dmage pilot skills of course, but they do sacrifice durability and speed. 8.5% additional damage per skill I think? Then there's the power man skill on top, with of course the NA.
as amain demeter player this video makes me happy,ive been using it since i got it from the black market superchest,i was using the hazards weapons and its very fun to play with them but right now the DOT and Rust weapons are doing more damage output so im using them right now and still doing the same kills and damage so for those who says demeter here is doing well for the rust weapons you are wrong,you just dont know how to use it and like you said manny, with demeter you can be agressive and jump away.
i recommend use the 3 amplifiers and slowly take damage to reach an unkillable demeter, even ochos are something you dont worry about anymore except for the tonan weapons.

An ophion was running away while my tyr was frantically chasing it trying to heal the damn guy, even shooting to get attention. It was a barrier that stopped the snake so I can catch up and heal. The fact that we need to forcibly teleport to someone to heal them is hilarious for support mains
Demeter is the way how I made my way into champion league.
Also, im so glad that the rust effect gets removed when you phaseshift. This makes the healing bots come back into the game..
I was one-on-one against a lender a few weeks back. We were evenly matched in terms of firepower but I won cus he couldn’t hit me while I was healing. After that Demeter became best robot

We used to be whales in my household back from the Seraph-style shield meta cycle and the turret meta cycle, and for about 6 months after. My main is still a maxed out Mars/Fainters and maxed Nodens/Lantern . Some others in the house have newer robots and titans but after the last few meta cycles we have absolutely banned spending money on WR. Pixonic has a meta cycle that takes your cash and throws the robot value away soon after. We have older robots like the Sheriff Demeter, Kitsune Harpy, Revenant, etc that we WANT to continue to max out and we WANT to get new weapons/robots/titans/drones/pilots/ships but when the 30-bot team get rolled by just one new meta weapon or robot it further solidifies that no money will be handed over anymore by our Whale-Household. You have to hit Pixonic in the wallet, and en mass, and consistently for the sake of your own purchases, let alone the larger community. It is angering how much money this household has spent on meta fun-but not-game breaking robots that were yet still nerfed (intentionally, as the meta cycle dictates) and value was thrown aside. We love our curated hangars and we are really good at running them strategically. This doesn't always matter and all of the meta robots, even new ones, will eventually go the way of my (8) Pre-nerf Seraphs (remember those days?). Fun still, but useless once the cycle changes a couple of times. Even your ridiculous Ochokochi that you dumped $400USD into to break MK3 on day 1. Heck, we will quit a match if an Ochokochi or a Newton on our own team starts to roll the other team. It's not fun for anyone. I'm not paying for something that isn't fun and I won't let my family do it either.

The Demeter is just one of those robots that rivals the old meta, and even a bit of the newer metas. Just reminds me of the good old days when Im getting rushed by a team, seeming all hopeless till a demeter teleports and gives me the chance to run away or finish of the enemies.
Also seeing Manni with his hat but no headphone is kinda cursed as I'am used to see him either without his hat or headphones, or with his hat or headphones, but onlu wearing his hat is something new.

It ain't underrated, everyone knows how good Demeter, Typhon, Ravana, Fenrir, Skyros and Khepri are. I see a lot of people saying "they are underrated" yet i see tons of Demeters in my games

Heads up, If you use the Glider drone on the Angler you get a 25% heal when you use your ability. I’m not sure if it’s a bug, It does make sense to get the heal when using the ability. You get a heal after phase shift and the ability. It’s actually a pretty great counter to just about everything. 25% might not sound like a lot, but when you have 400k hp it is
Demeter is a great f2p robot and an AMAZING support. It can really turn around any encounter. Another installment to the "Why is everyone using ..." Very good series
Fun fact, when you jump on a teammate using the skill, in the back of the robot you can see 3 antennas poking out and spinning whilst healing your teammates more than just using the skill on your own, as only one antenna poke out when you use it on your own.

I run atomizers/havocs/cryos on my demeter and it's one of my favorite robots hands down, I always do great with it and it feels awesome to save teammates at the last second

The damage absorbed by the absorber shield increases the amount of healing it does though which is good

At what point did players stop playing support bots?
Rust and DoT weapons accelerated their demise, but i think they started to vanish from the game way before that.
It's for me the really beautiful thing of the game: cooperation, teamwork.

Haha, funny you posted this today as just today I took the Dampers off my ophion and put them on my Sheriff Demeter just for fun. If you play it carefully it's an extremely effective bot!
You have to watch out for Reaper Crisis and shieldbreaker Ophions which is why you have to always be aware of what's on the battlefield though.
I always change up my line up from time to time as running the same bots over and over can get boring. I always run five different bots too. like to keep things fun!
The Demeter shield doesn't expand with damage, it expands with the amount of team mates in the area you teleport to, to give them all cover.
It actually expands wether you activate the ability on your self or if you teleport to a team mate

I think all robot abilities should have long cooldowns like... if a robot has an ability it should be like 2 or 3 times a min. and not just mindlessly spamming the ability, that spamming just looses the robots meaning and i think thats also why war robots has a provlem with changing metas
Adding new weapons is fun for experimenting but cooldowns should be fixed but depending on ability overall power, should the ability have longer cooldown

Also nice videos! I run my demeter with 3 volts bcs i like the old weapons more, with the grey hp ability heal pilot.... i like healing rooks that are in mid battle and on cooldown, so we can nuke enemy spawn

Nice… I start using the Demeter when a have my first dampers…. I also totally agree with the play style of been agresive sometimes… it why I like to play this game on the first place…. Hey manni speaking of the demeter I remember i ran a demeter build with flame throwers 1 nuclear amp 2 healing amps and I've noticed they take out Dagons really quickly i would engage the dagon and activate my ability and begin to fire and the demeter lasts decently long because he activated phase shift and I still managed to kill it also it works well against ophions especially since they dont seem to know that absorber allows demeter to heal more hp it seems to work well in the current meta but i would like to ask if you could make a video of this build in champion league but if you dont want to i understand
the demeter like is a reverse kind of retribution that the more damage you block, you get or provide more healing with your ability

I use this.. And i help titans.. It's literally Gamechanging.. I don't attack.. I just wait for the titan to be in a risky situation and give him some extra time to heal... Main targets are always rooks, newtons and luchadors

There are times where i can run demeter from start to finish without dying. Damper/deceiver combo. Fun robot. This is my main favorite out of all the robots because i can help teammates, while offering fire support. There are several strategies to use with this robot. My favorite is to make reds chase me into a zone where i can teleport to a teammate, and strand them in a hot zone for my teammates to clean up.
I used to have a hanger dedicated to nothing but support robots, but it became useless as Manni mentions. They should’ve made it so that it only prevents healing from yourself it would be cool if support robots could still heal you

The more damage the more healing it is. The size of the bubble depends if the ally you teleport in is targeted.
Not only my dear girl can arrive almost instantly to capture a beacon with my teammates, it can also flee from an unfair skirmish.
Demeter does seem to be a all-in-one robot not just support robot. I would definitely try to get this one soon. Manni ji your gameplay always great, awesome gameplay.
Might not have the greatest grey damage healing, but the regular healing is INSANE.

I think that the rust should only be applied to self healing (amplifier, active module). It would be cool if support robots could heal through rust to encourage more team play instead of simply running high damage setups.

Healer bots should prevent the rust effect and reduce the DOT. Most of them no longer worth the trouble to run & save blues.

Hey Manni. Love the content. I am currently working on a kind of War Robots game with the main goal to create it together with the community and keeping the game balaned and f2p. What are the aspects, you would say, that the game should do different or better? I would love to hear your oppinion. (It will take a while till the game releases. I am still working on it. Or rather, I am still working on the basics. So please don't expect to much for the moment)

Maybe not for the healing, but it def can save a lot of robots that are in a tight situation, since ophions usually are so aggressive the best way to counter its purple shield is have one your self, and have a shield breaker.... Pixo def needs to rework the whole support robot category, so much wasted potential but the new meta is always making the game more about solo'ing the whole team rather than teamwork... 🤷♂️ beacon rush and dom are just massive tdm and not about defending points
I to still hope for a season when Healing and support are the focus. Healing/speed/defense/damage from khepri, demi, mender and a few others. Daily tasks and leader boards should routinely reward those that invest and use the amazing support Bots pixonic created but now seem to forget.

It gives 30k extra HP everytime when repair module is used and If you use cool down skills for the module you can really have a 7 sec reload on the module with the pilot which actually lessens that
I mean you will surpass 100k hp just after using 4 times the module
Yeah the playstyle is expensive but just try it

Sadly Try does not have this grey damage recovery 😐, but I still prefer it though, it never left my line up, hope pixo considers including that grey recovery to Tyr in the future
Demeter and Ultimate Mender are the only playable support robots. Everyone else will die because of the Ophions, Imugis, Newtons, etc. flying around in the air.
weyland is a monster, but not as a support. stack repair amps, trixie hope + defensive skills, reviver or that new drone, and durability extender mothership, as long as you don’t get hit with rust, you’ve got a bot bulky enough to bully a top end fenrir into submission. I made a short video on how strong it is almost a year ago during the lynx meta, most slept on bot ever.

Haven't been deleted by a demeter in a long time....when it happens it really hurts 😂
I run mkIII demeter with 1 ecu, 2 wasps, and the pascal. Passive modules 2 heavy armor & one speed. I have shield brake equipped for ophion & ares but never have the tokens for using it in game. I think that WR has too many different types of currency.
A great bot indeed until there is shield breaker or the ocho pushes u away from team and Accion to single you out
