    Brad Keselowski was with Penske for 12 years and never won a Daytona 500, 11 of which he ran in the #2.
    Austin Cindric won the Daytona 500 in his first race driving the #2.
    The racing gods have a cruel sense of humor sometimes.

    Keselowski raced with an aggressiveness not seen by anyone else. Although it cost him, it was a spectacle to see a driver that truly gave everything he had that Race

    Brad is a very talented driver. I guess he has been known to have some off days. Happy for Cindric though. That kid has a lot of raw talent and has improved in Nascar massively in the last few years.

    I'll give Michael Jordan some credit, he seems like he's taking owning a racing team pretty seriously because Bubba looked good out there. I wish he'd won. The 2nd place finish is going to put a lot of money into that car. I'm happy for Cindric, my heart broke for Blaney.

      Oh yea bubba has been good at the dega and Daytona for a while now some guys who may not always be threats just have that knack for staying out of trouble making the right moves and picking the right lines but also knowing how to draft Michael McDowell and Michael Waltrip comes to mind

    Brad was a menace, but I'd argue he was the only driver who was trying to find ways to aggressively push, testing the limits of the Next-Gen package. Does that justify him wrecking people? No. But you can't say he wasn't trying out there

      Lol me neither, I have my 6 keychain on my keys now and am proud to rep it when I go out, especially because of that performance. That was entertaining as fuck. I was literally watching it like "oh jesus christ what's he going to do now?" Makes for good TV. Glad Cindric won tho because I like him too.

    I was actually pulling for Brad Keselowski, (1 pulling for the RFK guys, 2, one of the Ford teams that I like 3) In retrospect of his dad passing away, most importantly), and yes he might have been a little bit over aggressive, but yet I don't hear anybody complaining about Ty Dillon being an ass at the Clash...

      @@samgusso9341 right there with you.... Ty Dillon is a classic example, of spoiled rich kids that never had to work for anything. Dale Sr, on the other hand MADE Dale Jr work for it. He did not coddle him, he wanted Jr to figure it out. Richard Childress, on the other hand, held his hand and walked then through step-by-step-by-step....

    Stenhouse is one to talk about never lifting how many superspeedway wrecks has he caused and denny ain't exactly the cleanest most conservative driver on superspeedways either

      the last mistake Stenhouse made was in the 2020 500 and before that, the 2018 coke zero 400. ever since moving to JTG he’s been fine

    Most people hate train racing I think if done in a certain fashion it could definitely help strategy as we saw Sunday when they occasionally used it to cool things before green flag pit cycles.

    Probably won't be the last time we see Brad being this aggressive on the superspeedways, especially now that Atlanta is proposedly a restrictor plate venue with the increased bankings. Also F to Blaney, he looked like having the perfect run for the win, before the block was thrown.

    Not sure Brad would have won even had he had been able to get a push from Briscoe at the end.. I think the timing would had him between the wall and Blaney when Cindric was pushing Blaney up into the wall. I think Brad would have gotten collected in that crash.

    I liked him being aggressive with pushing. The one thing that would have helped him too not wreck as many cars was maybe not push them aggressively through the transition from corner to straight and not on the right side of the rear bumper. That's were his biggest issue was in the draft.

    I think alot of the problems with keselowski were that he pushed on the wrong spots on the track aka the transitions at the end of the corners

    People see what they want to see the very reason the rookie in the 2 car won is because the 12 was pushing just like Brad was doing to the rookie in the 21 but didn’t hang on. This same aggression was consistent throughout the race.
    Blind hate is the speech of fools.
    Pushing has always been. Rookies at the front isn’t common at all. The 21 F up by going for the lead in his first race.

      you will come to find that most nascar fans have little knowledge of racing. they are the epitome of "armchair expert". it makes me embarrassed to be a fan but as a driver myself his moves make sense. welcome to the next gen. these cars are a wild card and i know just how rounded bumpers take pushes. i wont blame him but its something these guys havent really seen. for context i am a champ kart racer who has ran a bit of asphalt, and the chassis i run used a rounded rear bumper. damn thing took shoves like shit until we built our own squared one. and yes, those karts had a draft like you wouldnt believe.

    I didn’t think Brad messed up being aggressive. He could bump better drivers all day. Ricky is Wrecky and Burton is a Rookie. Brads mistake was in losing his best drafting partner the 17.

    Stenhouse was going super slow on the outside its not that surprising he got turned around. he did not have the speed in turn 3 and lost a ton of ground. Plus his Crew Chief warned him Brad was coming.
