- At one point in time, you would have had me fooled if you told me that Roush-Fenway Racing would be a championship contender once again. However, in 2023, under the leadership of Brad Keselowski, the team appears to be BACK to contender status under the name RFK Racing. Let's take a look back in time to some of the moments in time that led from Roush's downfall to their revising rise in 2023.

Without Brad Roush might not even be on the track currently.
Brad asked Penske to let him buy in.... Penske was not set up that way though... Brad means to be in this sport and not in a small way! Always liked his unconditional pit stops and not following anyone.... but always a wanted pusher and friend on the superspeedways. No matter how far they go... and I want Chris to go all the way.....RFK will either get way better or collapse... There is no in between!

Brad saved them. They can easily get a car in the final 4. In fact as crazy as it sounds , Chris Buescher could actually be a NASCAR Cup champion, what universe have I glitched into? I think the title is obtainable for RFK in ‘23, but I think they’ll be stronger in ‘24 and be more of a heavy hitter come next year.

Brad Is a sleeper, he always has a resurgence when It matters the most. I would surely put a bet on him at least till round of 8. He Is very consistent and mature AND he can perform no matter the type of track.

It's extremely ironic Keselowski unintentionally crashed a Roush Fenway Racing Ford to score his first career win Considering that He would be Co-Owner of that said team 13 years later
Fun fact, the summer Daytona race last Saturday was RFKs’ first 1-2 finish since the spring Bristol race in 2014. It’s incredible how this team just a couple years ago was just a mid-field team and now has become possible championship contenders.
They were awesome and powerful... always remember that.... It's a resurgence not a first for them.

RFK's resurgence with Brad Keselowski as a part owner/driver and both he and Buescher running at the front is fantastic to watch. It reminds me of McLaren's F1 revival in recent years with Zak Brown joining as CEO in 2019 and turning McLaren around after years of mismanagement, poor performance and their toxic partnership with Honda. It's interesting how awful McLaren and Roush were in the mid to late 2010s and now they're competitive organizations again.
Man It was painful to see Roush decadence from being a big new fan in 2004, I was a big Carl and Mark fan and I was really glad when they left Roush, shame they never won a big one with HMS or JGR but It they never went out of Roush, the team would've died out. Yeah, even if they are mediocre at best, Stenhouse and Buescher actually saved Roush. They are as important as Brad when It comes to RFK present dominance.
Brad is a great owner, I think his potential shined owning his truck team. Not an easy job to erase a decade of struggles. He’s always been a great entrepreneur, can’t wait to see him back in victory lane. Damn good job BK! 👍
He sure learnt from Big Bob on how to manage a team. I'm glad he saved Roush, It would've been a shame if a team as important as them would've gone the Dodo way like Junior Johnson's team, CGR, Yates or any other of the big teams that have dissapeared. I hope Legacy M.C.C. doesnt follow those steps.
As a Mark Martin fan, who became a Brad K fan following Marks full time retirement, I NEEEEED to see that 6 car in victory lane. Brad says they are still a season away from being title contenders, but I’ve said the same thing you said. There’s no reason it can’t be this year. They have great tracks for the team in each round. WE ARE SO BACK!!!

Currently the best Ford team in cup series. I predicted both RFK cars would make the playoffs (Buescher on a win and Keselowski on points) whereas Eric predicted they'd both miss.
In my opinion.... Ford has to prove something to RFK!!! What do you think?
It would be great to see in the next 5 years if Brad will revive the Roush Xfinity series program

Great video. It is good to see Keselowski has become the leader that he is today. Regardless if RFK's two teams advance deep into this year's playoffs, I think this team is now built for long-term success.
I didnt think RFKs progression would happen this quickly, I thought they would be properly great again in 3-4 years after Brad bought in, not 1 and a bit
Buescher is a hot gun. Young Mark Martin's calibre. Brad has a good eye for talent. He should swap an eye for good Ford prospects such as Frankie Muniz, Timmy Hill, Chase Briscoe. Them all could well do a good job in a 60 or 26 experimental Roush-Ford Performance Program machine
Brad went from being Carl Edwards biggest rival to a champion to owning his team and bringing them back to prominence. W career! He really is rags to riches. You don’t see that in NASCAR these days.
Brad has brought back Roush to a championship contending team.
And I think a lot of people are writing them off. But I think they are going to be a real threat. And it'd not wins that tell me this. It's consistency. They are just always in the picture

Before Keselowski announced as driver and part owner of the Roush Fenway, they weren't winning races, bad luck including Newman's horrific last lap crash at Daytona, lacking performance race by race. Buescher and Keslowski making Roush Fenway Keselowski one of the top teams of 2023 and in the playoffs. Let's see how far can they go.
Roush Fenway Racing in the 2000s was very good, and I remember watching David Ragan(6 car), Matt Kenseth(17 car), Greg Biffle(16 car), and Carl Edwards(99 car) being competitive for wins. It's great to see how brad keselowski changed Roush Fenway teams and how there improving in the cup series.
Mark Martin was someone I got mad about when they talked shit! Love too watch that man race hard but clean..... lost so many tight races!

Those who were, and are paying attention, knew this was going to happen! Everyone "shocked" by this resurgence is a fool. Brad Keselowski is a NASCAR great! just a terrific team owner! He's a leader! And he's damn good at what he does! Then throw in Buescher?! RFK is going to be a FORCE to be reckoned with! This is DEI all over again! (Without the WW) I know what they (RFK) found!

when it was announced Kyle was going to RCR I was hoping that Kyle would do a Brad impression: it would work out businesswise a good thing: RC gets a free truck team and Kyle gets a Cup team at a serious discount

If RFK goes to four full time cars they should bring back the 97 and move the 60 to full time and maybe run the 50 part time.
They won the cup championship with the 17 and 97, the Xfinity championship with the 60 and 6, and the truck championship in 2000 with Biffle in the 50. I think it would be fitting for RFK to use those numbers.

I'm glad to say that I was with Brad long before he came over to Roush Fenway and vice versa.... (2017-18 I believe I can't remember exactly)... I am so thrilled to see the revival of RFK Racing, and I can't wait to see where things go. Hopefully we can see the revival of their Xfinity Program.....

I think Buescher is a legit championship contender and will be for years to come. I don’t see Brad winning another championship. But I think in the coming seasons, he’ll definitely pick up a few wins before he hangs it up. Either way he’s proven to be a great owner and I’m excited to see what the future holds for this team!

I would like to see Ricky Stenhouse get a chance to redeem himself with his original team. People forgot really quickly about Ricky being a back to back Nationwide Series champion. He has never gotten a chance to prove himself in the top series.

Love these guys, but we need to remember 3 wins in the regular season is exceptional and the competition is still fierce. I cant expect this same level of performanc year after year end over end. But I think at this point it woukd be reasonable to see RFK as a playoff contender at least once a year.

Despite Keselowski not getting a win yet, he's gotten better this year. He's given Roush that breathe of fresh air it so desperately needed. I think RFK can once again be considered Championship Contenders for a good while longer.

Honestly, I think Brad Keselowski is probably better as an owner than as a driver. Given that he is a hell of a driver and a champion of the sport, that should tell what I think of his ownership skills. I would love to see his team win a championship and deny Gibbs in particular. I think they have more to prove, and this will always drive them.

IMO RFK has become the top Ford team in Cup.
Not to take away from this video, But as you might be aware I won't be likely watching the Southern 500 sadly because I am traveling But I did find tonight DannyB a lot of cars from Wal-Mart one of my closest ones actually had a lot of cars in the store as many as I found in a long time in the same store if not ever I found over a dozen cars in that store but could only get 8 because thats all I could carry without dropping them. But I am saving them until by birthday which is tomorrow. I am traveling to San Marcos and seeing it for a 2nd time in 2023. So you won't likely see me watching a race after Saturday current or older for a few days I am somewhat taking a at least 36-48 hour break. Also with all the controversy too going on this week, that didn't involve racing on the track too I bet you might know what controversy I am talking about though.
