O tecer solista de Stamitz mostra belo fraseado. A arte de trompete agradece. Bravo à articulação e agudos do instrumentista.

Lebhaft und sehr schön. Ob sich J. Haydn davon hat inspirieren lassen? 👍🏼

My favourite trumpet player! Is there any version of this concerto played entirely in period instruments?

Yeah !!! Thank you, I made mistake. It is in D. I don't understand how I could make mistake, when 2 concertos are in D , 1 concert is in E and 1 concert in E flat. Once again thank you for attention. Best wishes Val

Does this have a catalog number? Did Stamitz compose any other trumpet concertos, or is this the only one? (I know this CD doesn't provide any further info if any exists.)

As far as I know, this is the only known trumpet concerto written by Stamitz. But as it is one of the latest discoveries, there might be other unknown ones sitting in some drawer somewhere

On piccolo trumpet it is Maurice André. Only Maurice Andrè. But this is also Maurice Andrè level. So bravo to Håkan in such a young age play like the God himself. Nothing above nothing beside. Mybe Niklas Eklund on barock trumpet is a little above but that dosent count becourse the barock trumpet belongs to God and the angels as an instrument and noboddy can beat that.
