I am a 77 year old woman with renal failure 3 how does that work eating dark chocolate which is my favorite everyday and what will it improve on my health of what kind
I eat a small piece of 92% cacao daily. It's healthy, is just sweet enough to want it yet just bitter enough to where you don't want a lot. I saw a research article on this a few months ago and they said 92% cacao was the healthiest (yes even better then 100%). You also want the sugar ingredient to NOT be in the top 3 ingredients listed.
That's a great habit! Dark chocolate has some amazing health benefits.
How about a recipe for hot chocolate using the BEST cacao???
Thank you for the great health information. dark hot cocoa?? isn't it too bitter taste than the regular one?
I am prediabetic. Pls advise. Thank you. ❤❤❤
Ohhh!!! I love dark chocolate. Whether it is square, or round, or spherical.🍫🍫😋❤
Really? What’s your preferred brand?
@@vitazenhealth Sambirano Gold.Belgian chocolate.
I have breast cancer, how many grams of dark chocolate bar should I eat every day. And which one is better for me the 70,% or the 80 %?. Thank you
It's great that you're thinking about your diet in relation to your health. Consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice on dark chocolate consumption. Wishing you well on your fight against cancer.
What about for people with diabetes? Do they have sugar free dark chocolate? Awesome video thanks 👍
Can you clarify your question?
@@vitazenhealth I mean, if I'm a diabetic. What kind of dark chocolate would be healthy for me?

But, Dr. Li promotes Vosges Chocolate as a high-quality dark chocolate overall. He doesn't specifically mention if whether or not this dark chocolate brand is better for those with diabetics. My apologies for the incomplete answer, but you should really consult your healthcare provider. They've probably received this question before and can give you a better educated answer.
does heating the chocolate take nutrients away??
As long as you don't change the item chemically, generally a food's nutritional value shouldn't change. But, I will admit that we could not find much peer reviewed research that examines the consequences of heating chocolate.
Can u drink dark chocolate with milk?
Dr. Li wouldn't recommend that, but overall - do everything in moderation
What brand of cacao is best???
The "Best" is subjective. But, Dr. Li recommends any chocolate with an 80% or higher cacao and no refine sugar. He specifically mentioned that he sometimes uses CocoaVia (formerly known as CocoaPro) single serve sticks to help incorporate cacao into his daily routine -> amzn.to/3Jcs1R3
Supposedly, Montezuma’s Absolute Black (100% cocoa) has the lowest levels of heavy metals.

Chocolate also has a shit load of Lead and Cadmium.
.
Yes that is true and no animal in the wild will touch it and it kills dogs theobroma.red flags for me
Can you address Epstein Bar?
I believe we can but will have to take some time to do proper research
If you stuff yourself like the woman in this documentary you will put on a lot of weight which is hardly healthy. Moreover like all these health suggestions it requires a high volume intake and like anything else you will soon get sick of it. Two big cups of intensely rich chocolate a day? In practice most people will get sick of it. That’s not to mention the prohibitive cost.
Another rubbish study
Care to expand? Which study are you referring to?
Do you have a source contradicting any of this?
Yeah and it's also very high in Oxalates, so eating it everyday is a dumb idea.
Thank you for sharing your opinion - though everyone does not need to worry about having a low-oxalate diet. That's usually geared toward those with kidney health problems.
A rather limited, narrow-minded view on this.
@@WMtheWM 2 kinds of people, ones who take everything at face value, and believe everything they are told, or clever people who research it and find out the positive effects and any negative affects. And in this case high oxalates and heavy metals make this a stupid idea. When you get kidney stones i will bet your comment will change then. So who is narrow minded?
@@x-stormblade You are the narrow-minded one. Many foods are high in oxalates. Just not eating them is silly. Eat foods in moderation, and you will not have problems. It's so stunningly simple, that even a child could understand it. But you appear to be special.
@@x-stormblade "So who is narrow minded?" You are.
