We need a PSA about not using line formation for missile infantry unless they're being shot by artillery. It reduces their turning speed and thus reactivity a lot. Stick to box formation so they can turn and face e.g. skirmish cavalry before the cav can move out of range.
spells like searing doom can wreck box formation so it's not so black and white but yeah the manouvrability is nice
I’m guessing you’re seeing tenny in matchups against factions where it’s hard to keep a Slann alive. Cannons do some dirty things to them now that they lost 1k hp.
LM’s non-Slann lord options are either bad or mid so they don’t have great options for lords. Tiktakto probably the best one just for being cheap lol.

Some unconventional stuff on the first game. I'd never take rot knights against the roster where nearly every elite unit deals fire damage, but I suppose that compared to skullcrushers they do regenerate and are much faster. The WoC build looked like it was made to deal with train and bale taurus' and would've been utterly fucked against infernal ironsworn, but that's just the nature of build roulette. Game looked very chorf favoured up to a point, but the peeling assets got too far from the shooters which lost him his damage potential. Not a fan of k'daai fireborn myself. My hot take is that on current price point they are just worse dual axe bull centaurs, but they did perform fine on that game.
I wish warriors of chaos could actually take warriors. WoC should be guaranteed to have the armor front line that's the point. It would make them op as hell and I'm cool with that
King, who is the strongest 3 factions for pvp and why?
Kislev: unbreakable passive is nuts and their stats are really high. Glorious charge is a wild buff to give to their cav.
Empire: all their new stuff is mega busted, especially steam tanks and land ships.
Bretonnia: healing is really strong on their top tier knights, especially on quick battles where you can spam their elite stuff. In tournaments they are limited how many grail knights they can bring.

Are hobgoblin archers good against horsemen?
They trade up, but apart from them there aren't much units in WoC roster they' be good against. Fireglaives outrange them and blunderbusses delete literally anything that gets in their range so people stick to them for a reason. Hobgoblin archers have pathetic 130 range despite being the most expensive basic archer unit in the game, they'd need 30 extra range or significant cost decrease to see any notable use.
The hobgoblin archers are just too short range to function effectively. They also get deleted on charges, so it's hard to keep them alive long enough to accrue value.
They should be statted similarly to Arrer Boyz, with less ap missile strength, less melee ws strength, less leadership without contempt, but more leadership with contempt and exploiting their fire synergy would make them a decent unit.
