Oh I would be interested in comparison . I do CrossFit so wear nanos but I’m doing Hyrox soon and need a shoe for the running and workouts that’s will stick for the sledge. I’m not a runner tbh but I’m doing it anyway. 53 year old with arthritis in my knees and toes

Definitely very competitive shoe. Kudos to Tyr, they got a lot of things right for a first edition. I love that for a training shoe they have good rubber coverage especially in the heel area (reminds me the rubber coverage on Brooks Hyperion Tempo). I think this shoe will be pretty durable. I am definitely interested in this shoe and I would have bought it if I didn't have a lot of shoes already. I am going to pick it up later in the year (showing a bit of self-restraint 😅) I have to run a bit more in my current set of shoes to retire a few pairs.
My favorite nylon/plastic plated shoe is Saucony Endorphin Speed 1/2.
Agreed. These are very competitive, and you're right about TYR doing a great job their first time out of the gate with this type of trainer!
I'm impressed with your restraint. It will be a lot harder to show restraint if these go on sale! Isn't there a "Prime day" in July?
@@its_Matt_B_ I didn't say my restraint is iron-clad 🤣 But, really, I don't think they would discount this model so soon on Prime day. I was thinking more of Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Christmas sales.

I’ve found this shoe appealing, but I ADORE the ES3 and have a pair with relatively low mileage that I picked up when the ES4 was coming out (nice discount), so I’ve worried it would be redundant for now.
Nah, price is a great reason to buy the ES3. It's still a great shoe! DOn't feel bad; you made the right choice!

Would like to love the Endo Speed 4 but the toe box tapers too sharply and kill my pinkies. If these are a Speed 4 with a sensible toe box, I’m in!
That is almost exactly what these are! I'll have a comparison video in the next couple weeks.
Would this be a good long run shoe? Currently using Gel Kayano 30 or a plated carbon from Scott for long runs and they have some issues. Kayano (and similar styled shoes) get a bit too hot after 10 km and feels heavy on me. The carbon plated Scott is poppy but feels a little stiff the longer I ran.
This could definitely work. The upper is much lighter than the Kayano and it has a nylon plate, so it's going to be more flexible than your Scott.
The Asics Superblast may be another good option for you to consider.
Interesting trend of sports gear and sports wear brands getting into a saturated market like running/racing.

How do these fit compared to the Saucony Endorphin Speed 4?

This is definitely worthy of consideration. I plan on filming a comparison between this and the Endo Speed 4 pretty soon...
