This is why I hate dueling network. People be ignoring rules then refusing to play when you call them out on it. Fucking waiting for admin for 10 min.

Even then there are arguments with the rules. Id rather play on devpro where the rules are set. of course you sometimes run into a bug or two but its better than having to argue over the rules. Its also annoying having to type out whenever you want to activate an effect or ask if the summon is ok.

DevPro attracts complacent and shitty duellists simply because most of its players don't understand how the game works. The quality of game there is appalling for that very reason.
It attracts people because everyone thinks they know every rule in the game. How many times have you played on DN and had to wait 10 min because your opponent disagreed with a ruling and refused to play until the admin showed up. After the 50th time I gave up on the site. I don't play competitively because I don't have time to go to tournaments or things like that.

Very true. I remember playing this game when it first came out with the blue eyes and dark magician structure deck, Kaiba and Yugi. Trap hole apparently could only affect monsters with summoned in their name, aka summoned skull.

If you're old enough to use a PC proberly you should be old enough to read. Also thus DarkEye24 guy simply cgeated his way through the game and nearly lost though!
For a 60 card deck it was pretty impressive that he just happened to have/draw the exact things he needed to get past dude's beaters.

still at least they try something new. try watching any high rated duel and its all tier one decks. whats the point of having so many 1000s of cards available if everyones just gonna use the same 500 or so cards.
4evrFireify its not really funny because they use obscure or bad cards (that actually makes the duel more entertaining, since i really like the sphinx cards), its just that many low-rated duelists use very common archetypes and cards, but use them incorrectly (thus the humor). After all, it's still nice that Azneyes tries to help them instead of just leaving them be :)

i remember using an exchange in a duel at a card shop when I was young, and then both me and my opponent had forgotten about it. I basically forced a trade.I got the better end lol.

I actually loved how *Weirdow* was actually using part of my deck including Gold Sarc... except for that trap for piercing i didn't know about 'till now, and that bad spell... and the inhability to read more closely (lol) .... tbh tough only the *other 2* duelist were the real goddamn crappy ones that gave me cancer ;P

I recently made a really shitty sphinx deck and its so funny watching this guy attack on the turn his sphinxes go out and not taking the opportunity to make the Great Sphinx with that mirror force.

8:26 for what it's worth, blue should have taken 2800 for the piercing from roaring earth and andro's effect. Not that it matters since these duelists apparently exist for our amusement.

I just started up a DN account recently. It's even worse when you're actually playing against them. It's just a few duels, but so many admin calls... so many...

Great Shogun Shien can be special summoned if you have 2 six samurai out.
Azeneyes was not referring to if The Shogun could be SSed he was talking about it being Searched and SSed through the effect of Asceticism. As a Six Sam player in order to use Asceticism correctly you need to select a Six Samurai monster and SS a SIX SAMURAI monster that has a different name but equal attack as the selected monster then the selected monster is destroyed during the End Phase. The misplay occurred when the Sam player tried to SS Great Shogun because It is not considered a Six Samurai by name. Had the defending player had a Mirror Force he could have saved himself as Shogun's effect to limit the activation of S& T's is not retro active.

No the effect of andro was you take damage equal to half of attack but they mistook for half of defense so half of 1200 is 600

When people don't know their own cards. Also your ruling with Jinzo is totally false as you can't even activate torrential tribute because Jinzo has a continuous effect and cannot be chained to. The only kind of trap card that could hurt Jinzo is one that negates his summon.

DN needs to put up a tutorial for new players or something.
Would you like to go into rated duel with a new player that has little knowledge of game? Taking a long time to read his cards and to make a move while making misplays? Worse is when he/she leaves you hanging or you have to wait up to hour and a half for admin forcing you to quit.
ThePwntagonist It is no more DN's responsibility to teach players than it is every other country's responsibility to look for the missing plane. Some things just need to be done because someone has to do them, or because it is to the betterment of society.
Usually I call an admin as soon as they start with their shenanigans. I sometimes had to wait 15-30 mins and sometimes up to an hour or more.

Currently trying to get my rating on DN up so I can avoid this sort of thing, I've had to deal with people thinking that you can pay 4000 lifepoints to summon blue eyes and then draw whenever you need more cards, and that if you lose you can add 9000 lifepoints back on.
have you ever run into people who thought they could summon more than once for no reason, or people who summon lvl 5+ cards without sacrificing? they are the absolute worst
