      Hey thanks a lot man.. glad it helped!
      For sprocket change you'll need a pneumatic gun as it will be difficult to remove with normal socket wrench.
      There is a good video on one of the channels for KTM sprocket change. Check out "Dudes and Tools" channel.

    So i have a doubt.. there is a secondary oil drain bolt on the side of the engine.. dont we have to open it.. or just drain through the main 18mm drain nut

    • @eb_reviews
      @eb_reviews  Před 5 lety

      My bike is a 2016 model and has only one drain bolt.
      I have seen some 390s where there are 2 drain bolts, one 18mm on the left side and one in front which is I think 14/15mm.
      This is given for better drainage of oil without needing to tilt the bike side to side as the 2nd bolt is at the lowest point of the crank case.
      It's advisable to drain both places before adding new oil to avoid contamination.
      Also, there is no oil drain bolt on right side. It is for coolant draining.

    I own a 2019Duke200 and it’s 14,500 driven.

    Btw Great and helpful video brother☺️

    • @eb_reviews
      @eb_reviews  Před 3 lety +2

      Hey Ritik.. thanks for the complement. Glad it helped you.
      I suggest you not to use engine oil additive if you are using motul 7100 or 300v as this already has additives which make the engine run smoothly.
      Adding extra chemicals will be overkill and will not make a difference. It is just for your mental peace.
      Oil additive is added when engine is old there is a lot of carbon deposits inside which cause stress on moving parts and make the gear changes clunky.
      If you want to add, try after 20000 kms.
      Difference will be negligible.

      I use diesel and wd-40 to clean the chain every 2 weeks.
      Leave it soaked for 10 min in diesel, wipe off then repeat with wd-40. Don't use in excess.
      Then take it to pressure wash centre and spray on chain from 1 metre distance while rotating wheel.

      Ok please follow below steps before cranking the bike.
      1. Check battery voltage, charge if less than 12.6 v
      2. Check oil level and viscosity. If oil has become thick, flush engine. Fill new oil and change oil filter.
      3. Check air filter condition. Change if blocked.
      4. Empty fuel tank and fill with fresh fuel.
      5. Last check tyre condition and tyre pressure. Front 29 and Rear 32 psi

    • @eb_reviews

      It depends on how much oil has come out during the flushing process and if there is still some oil left over in the sump/engine.
      It's always better to add 1.3 L first, then run the engine for 5 mins and switch off, let it settle and add more in case oil level has dropped.

    • @artezest
      @artezest Před 5 lety +2

      Okay great you are referring to Wikipedia.... Let me enlighten you.
      Firstly Wikipedia is open source platform i can edit it and make 1.4 to 1.8 ......no big deal.
      Secondly the most important thing you need to understand is that they are mentioning the oil capacity which is different from the quantity that you replace after draining oil.
      For duke 200 you will refill with 1.250L but in case of Overhaul complete 1.4L have to be filled.
      Why in the first place you ignored your manufacturers manual and then reading the information form the web incorrectly.
      Let me know if you still have any doubt
