Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
Its an absolutely beautiful Tuesday in November. Las Vegas is in the mid 70's and sunny with clear skies. Goodwill came through again for me today with full shelves and lots of treasures to choose from. Shop with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found a vintage Emerson transistor radio, Reuven Glassware, MCM black ceramic cranes, art glass figurines, an owl bank, a Mickey Mouse Imagineers mug and a huge sleek mid century modern style vase!!! Several family members used to cringe when I say I shop at thrift stores until they tagged along with me & were instantly hooked! Love it!
I know a few friends who look down on it but I honestly go to find clothing to fit me that fit as I loose weight and for work. I usually find much better quality clothing that I would have gotten at Wally World( no shade at all) I get caught up in the vintage looking t shirts at wally (Walmart in case you didn't know) My room mate or brother from another mother, was disgusted to wear something discarded by who knows...I buy him clothing and never tell him where it's from LOL. I usually say oh that was my stepdad's he never wore it and in your size 🌀👕👖☯
I agree with another of your viewers that you
are so gentle and respectful with everything you touch. You even take the time to pair things together ( such as cups, plates, etc) even if not buying them ( making it easier for the next customer).
You take your job seriously, you talk about the item and why it's worthy of buying, etc. We really like that you are not shopping constantly with your friends, laughing loudly and acting silly. We noticed your parents are super professional and keep their distance when you're thrifting together. They are so lovely, easy to see where daughter got her beauty from.
I love how you can love a non expensive item, yet your description of its beauty to you makes us viewers want to buy it.

I've seen a lot of thrifting videos and I have to say..I love how respectful you are with everything. Putting matched items together,but most of all how careful you are with glass. Most people clank things around and are rough with everything. Drives me crazy. Wish more were like you.
I know what you mean, but do remember that if the thrifter is using a camera and microphone setup, the microphone picks up the noise of the items being moved REALLY well and it sounds like they are crashing things around when they aren't!

Our thrift stores do not have the wide variety as yours do. I think being in a large city you get a better selection
I bought a glassybaby at a goodwill in Oregon several years ago! I was shaking! I bought it for $1.50!
Id have been so panicked that I was "stealing" it i swear I would have dropped it 🥰😂🤣😅
The metal cage you're calling a candle holder looks like a light bulb cage the is required to prevent damage and/or fire in barns and industrial settings where flammables or moving equipment like a fork lift might break a bulb. We had to install cages like that in our barn. The neck of the bulb goes through the smaller opening allowing the metal frame to rest against the structure.

It is refreshing to watch a video that takes the viewer into consideration...slower more controlled scanning. It takes skill to communicate and descriptions of your found items generate interest. To my little science-eye, the 'rock' you picked up at 15.13 looked like a good sized piece of petrified wood.
Biologist here. I agree. I didn’t catch the price but you can usually get a good bit for those, especially larger pieces.

I don't think the green plate is Fire& Light. Your's looks like one side as smooth and one side has texture, and F&L will have texture on both sides. Maybe this piece is San Miguel recycle glass from Spain

RADIOS THAT OLD ARE GEMS TO FIND. LOOKS LIKE LATE 50S EARLY 60S. MY DAD GOT ME A RADIO FOR CHRISTMAS EVERY YEAR WHEN I WAS GROWING UP. I USED TO HAVE A TRANSISTOR RADIO LIKE THAT WHEN I WAS LITTLE. SAME COLOR. I WISH I COULD FIND ONE AT GOODWILL. SO THRILLED YOU FOUND ONE. LOTS OF PEOPLE BACK THEN GAVE THOSE OLD RADIOS AWAY PEOPLE GAVE ME SOME TRANSISTORS RADIOS. ALOT OF TIMES THE PEOPLE PUT THE BATTERIES IN BACKWARDS SO THE RADIO DIDN'T COME ON. THAT HOW I GOT ALOT OF THE TRANSISTORS RADIOS BACK THEN. I FIXED THEM PUTTING THE BATTERIES IN THE RIGHT WAY PUT BRAND NEW BATTERIES IN THEM TOO. GREAT FIND. THANKZ FOR YOUR VIDEO. HAPPY HOILDSYS TO YOU.

Checked eBay for the Emerson radio. One is a new listing with one bid at $12. Another closed with a poor condition leather case for $154. NONE with original box. You should do well over double the $50 you mentioned. Good luck. I’m so excited for you! I’ve been in the antiques/collectibles business for well over 25 years so I feel your excitement. The color and original box are what collectors love. Would be thrilled to know how you do with it. Not sure where you sell your goods. eBay was very good to me. 🍀
Tiffany! Stop at 44:11!!!! I’m a Rogaska crystal collector and those might be Rogaska Martini glasses, with the cut or etched flowers on them… I’m not at all sure but they really caught my eye.

Chipped glass including art glass can be repaired and restored as can ceramic pieces as well. So if you see an iron that you really like don't get discouraged if you really like it and you want and you're feeling crafty buy it had a reduced price as you point out the damage to the item and then smartly take it home and restore it
