As long as it doesn't become your God because salvation is through Christ and Christ alone. What does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul?(Matthew 16:26) Your material possessions won't follow you beyond the grave, but your relationship with God will. Your relationship with God will mean everything after your death.

I track my money, my incomes and my spendings and GOD this is worthwhile
I do think that things like meditating, journalling, nose breathing, and cold showers do have their place

I don't do Monk Mode, No Fap, Dopamine Detox. I don't collect crystals or read the horoscope or make my bed in order to succeed lol I am a believer yes and I do pray BUT It doesn't mean I'm not taking action.
Tracking and doing things mathematically is one of the actions to take.

For the people triggered by the “Calorie in and out is simple math and works for everyone” myth( 11:00 - 20:00 ) because you’ve done everything he suggested already and couldn’t get the weight off due hormonal dysfunction or extreme food noise… I completely understand.
You probably have vagus nerve dysfunction and need to heal it to make the advice work. Eastern medicine: acupuncture, massage, etc Western medicine Bariatric vsg/gb medicine (heals the vagus nerve) and glp1 (overrides the vagus nerve).
For me personally adding tirzepatide and other peptides made all of my previous efforts finally yield results. And weirdly my endurance improved significantly and injuries that I had previously rehabbed with little results improved significantly.
Good luck to you and I wish someone would have told me this instead of me wasting my life white knuckling keto and fasting for so long because “everyone else was getting results”. In reality we don’t know who’s been using peptides for the past ten years but saying it was all calories in and out 🙄
