Just commenting this in light of the whole simu Liu comment and some woke non-asians tried to speak about the Asian-Ness of Henry Golding just because he's half white despite him being able to speak Malay and actually from Malaysia.

Lah is actually written in the dictionary Kamus Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Usually used at the end of the word to strengthen a sentence. But for local people both Malaysian n Singaporean we used lah for literally everything.. With that sometimes it kinda lost its meaning along the way. And has becoming more of a rojak words.
Shiok is basically liking or enjoying something a lot or just joy of excitement. At least in Malaysia. Not too sure in Singapore though. Pretty sure about the same though.
Michelle Yeoh is born as Malaysian and grown up in Malaysia, so of course she knows much about malay language ekwkkw
