This man is pumping out videos faster then a corner route by 85
haha...85 looks good though fr
because this is the easiest way to make money. he’s a new highly touted qb. if jt can capitalize quickly he’ll make a lot of money
@@TheQBSchoolYA BOY!!!!
@@josephmother408yeah but it’s not like a new money grab this is what he does and he’s well respected for his analysis, the paywall is annoying though already having to pay hundreds just to watch the games in the first place
@@Dingeroonie There is more than 1 former qb breaking film down for NFL qb's. Some actually started and have solid playtime. Chase Daniels does a lot of film break down without a paywall.
The nice thing about being a Bears fan is that there are enough of us crazy and desperate enough to watch 5+ QB breakdown videos that we end up getting an absurd amount of QB content.
Making Bears QB content is easy views especially right now.
That being said, nobody does it as well and consistent as QB School.
We've been watching them for years now at this point, so we have some experience. And feels weird now that it's good.
It's funny that the Bears, Jets, and Lions have the most dedicated fans.
Nah. Caleb is HIM. That’s why you’ll always have plenty of content of Caleb. That being said. Yes. Qb school is the best 😎
@@ErlingGrey Only dedicated fans would subject themselves to rooting for a losing team 😅🐻⬇️
It was the same thing with Niners fans last year. We wanted to know what we had.

Lol true, plus I love how Im only 10 minutes in and hes said we are overly sensitive about 6 times already. He knows how obsessed we are with finally having a good QB
@@plantex625you hope you have a good QB got shut down 3 3 and outs by 2nd string defense with 0 starters. Give it time before you crown him juking guys that’ll be insurance salesman ain’t impressive
@@kane6529Caleb Williams has already proven he's a Hall of Fame QB. He might even get a jacket before he starts a game.
Some of these vets may not care cause it's preseason but put someone out there on offense who wants the ball. They owe Caleb that.
That's exactly why I was happy he played with the back up WRs. For those other drives. DJ and Keenan don't care.
Apparently Keenan hasnt had a pre season snap since 2018 so if he wants to take it slow in meaningless games im all for that
Ngl dj moore played sloppy
Good finish in the last two drives by Caleb. He looked like a rookie today at times but I’m sure he will settle in just fine.
Finally someone who isn't either bashing Caleb or saying Caleb is the next Mahomes lol. Great take.
Rookie QB first game at home. He was probably extra amped up. He was playing too fast until he settled in. Just needed to slow it down but easy for me to say when the home crowd is going nuts for you. He's young so he gets a pass from me. He'll probably feel the same at his first regular season home game and first playoff game. Experience will solve these little timing issues.
@@MFBloosh He looked like a rookie yesterday and will still be the next Maholmes
Love the breakdown. I was hooked when you did on CJ. Does it feels like he’s better when there’s chaos around him? Like Bryce Y? I wish him success
@@MFBloosh*Ya idk bout that but he does have a similar play style as him*
I am 32. At this age, and I couldn't imagine older, if I was in the NFL, I'd be going 80% preseason as well.
yeah i'm not gonna worry about the future HOFer, coming off a career year, over a couple preseason games. it's not breaking news that Keenan Allen isn't one of the faster guys on the field. idk if that just makes me another sensitive bears fan, but seems like a weird thing to fixate on
I mean if you want to have a winning season getting good in game reps with your rookie QB would be ideal at least for a few drives
He’s also in a contract year, getting hurt in preseason would be devastating
Yeah man it's pretty obvious to me that Moore and Keenan are playing half speed. It's not what you want but hey it's reality in the NFL. Moore said it himself he doesn't want to be out there rn. I wish so much of this analysis wasn't stuck on their routes or especially Everett the 2nd TE lol
I just don’t see Keenan Allen going 100% in the preseason
My favorite “if it was Justin, people will be in f’ing up in arms”. So true. 😂
Justin year 4 vs. Caleb month 1 😭
Watching this later and going to be "locked in and fired up!" 😁🔥
Are you bald
I heard you break down the QBs in the Athletic Football Show podcast w/ Robert Mays. Most entertaining 1 hr drive to work of my life. Love the content! Thanks for your work! 🫡
Appreciate that

@@TheCrayonMan529 I unfortunately don’t know what the link is, I just searched up on my Apple podcast The Athletic Football Show and you can see the episodes. It was a very recent one, they talked about JJ McCarthy season ending injury as well. I’m sure it’s also available on Spotify if you have it.
Not a sensitive bears fan here. Not a lie was said in the video. Moore had some tough routes, and keenan looked to loaf or maybe even time to admit he's likely taken a step back. Caleb, Odunze, and Kmet seem to be trending upward which is great to see consistency and progress. I'm hoping the play calling, especially the opening drive, and the focus on 14 are just chalked up to pre season and working on giving Caleb different looks.
A lot of the vets that are locks to make the roster don’t try that hard in preseason they are waiting for week one
This is the vets' 2nd preseason game. They didn't wanna play in the first one, let alone a second. Caleb already proved himself in the first one, so they've likely just checked out at this point. Let's see if they amp things up in the regular season.
@@Lobaniumhe seemed really happy and locked in during the offseason. But he’s getting consistently beat in camp by JJ and not showing much care in the warm up games.
I’m sure he’s taking it easy after last years usage & injury, but also not motivating to see this
Moore will do his thing and I’m sure Allen will have a very nice season too
@@LobaniumCaleb didn’t prove jack shit lmao, one throw doesn’t erase 3 straight 3 and outs. Kid can’t okay structured football
Love how Rome immediately shoots downhill as soon as he sees Caleb spin out. Had his man beat on the route and just took further advantage. Good to see some synergy between those two
Thanks for finally showing some love to our boy Kmet. He’s gotten better every year and he’s got good hands.
That go route to #10 Tyler Scott is definitely for Eval purposes in the preseason. Dude is one of if not the fastest guy in the WR room and he’s tracking as our #4, so he’s gonna get some routes in the regular season. Wish there was no PI so we could see if he would bring it down but you take that chunk play.
Welp. New news from the latest hard knocks episode shows that Caleb and the Staff had mic issues when they were struggling and ended up being completely fine once they switched his helmet out 😂. Haters still gonna hate
The only vids i trust when it comes to QBS because you're honest and a teacher of playing the position.
Rome killed me on that play when he backed out of the endzone! I wanted that for Caleb so badly!
Rome by the end of the year will be the best WR on the team, will have a great career. Bears over paid Moore and were smart NOT to offer money to Allen at this time.
@@chm97chm97 Moore was a top 10 WR last year, is in his prime, would have made more on the open market, has zero diva/off-field issues, and the Bears are pretty much going to be swimming in money until it's time to pay Caleb. May as well spend the cash on impact players when you got it.
Rome will be really good, but part of why he looks like the best WR on the team on preseason is because he is treating these games like they're playoff games. There's just not a single vet that's going to go all out like a rookie does in preseason. But it is encouraging. If he's good I doubt the Bears pay Keenan after this year when they'll have a chance to trade for or sign a game breaking edge instead and put that money there, which is a pressing need instead of a luxury. A team really only needs two top flight WRs.
@@chm97chm97yeah. A team friendly deal for Moore is bad for the team. Lolol. 😂
And when was Keenan "offered" money. What are you talking about?
Yes. Rome is gonna be the X in this offense by week 5, but that doesn't make you better than Moore. Moore is best at Z anyway, AND so are most of the best WRs in the NFL. Hill is a Z. Chase is a Z.
Jefferson is an X. There's a lot of different great WRs in the NFL that excel at different things. It's just awesome that the Bears have several.
Love the Caleb Williams breakdowns I hope you do one every week of the season. Hope there's a Mac Jones breakdown too, he got a ton of time last night and looked pretty good
Caleb is big business.
@@FortunateSoul Yup, he looks damn good. He's Chicago's guy, 100%
"If this were Justin, you'd all be up in arms"
Yeah because we watched the same thing for 3 YEARS. This is a rookie in his second pre season game. Apples and Oranges.
Agreed 100%
For some context on that post throw, Caleb talked about it during his post-game and he said that against that coverage he's supposed to bend it up the field so that other corner doesn't have a chance to get over the top of it. Tyler also did bend it up that way the way he was supposed to but the corner horse collared him basically.
Yeah - I also don't agree with missing to the open grass side versus being a little behind him. Why would you miss to open grass instead of to a spot where the receiver has a chance to make a play.
Appreciate the frankness of your comments. One minor point. The long throw to no. 10, Tyler Scott was an attempt to give him some pt. He's the fastest wr on the team and as a rarely used second year player, would be a huge plus if he became a prodictive no. 4 receiver. And the play was a success.
When I was watching it live yesterday it looked like the DB had his hands in Scott's shoulder pads and jerked him back (drawing the PI) which made it seem like an overthrow.
jt cookin 14 my favorite part man LMAOOOOOO
They've got 6 TE's and he's the only one playing like he knows his spot on the 53 is safe.
As a habitual watcher of the channel for years, I'm all here for the 2024 Revenge Tour by "85". "Your boy 85" has been dogged on in damn near every Bears video for the last 2 years lmao.
Anyway, #28 that "wasn't there last year" is 5th round rookie Josh Newton. He's good underneath, good in zone, lacks a bit of top end speed and can get beat deep (saw that later).
So not Revis or Deion. Thanks.

The problem with this game is that Bengals know what Bears offense was going to look like from joining practice! I like your tape breakdown good points. Bear down!
Youre right keenan look like the type of vet thatll play preseason but dont expect him to go 100 during preseason type of player
Love it!! All the talk about Chi town's skill players. We'll see.
bro idk what it is about his voice but i love it. keep em coming! cant wait for the next video on maye.
That deep throw to Tyler Scott was a perfect ball. The ONLY reason it wasn’t caught was because he was held, hence the PI
yeah it looked like the DB grabbed him inside the collar and pulled him back. I could be wrong.
Not really, it was decent but perfect it's more inside so he does not have to make adjustment in stride. An over your head grab adds difficulty to catch.
@chm97chm97 u r right
@@chm97chm97 he's trying to keep to ball away from the other corner streaking down the field. He put it in a perfect spot only his receiver can get to
Under thrown
Loving Caleb so far with crazy play making, but like Justin, I’m hoping we will see more of the on-script pocket throws. I really like Bagent this game; he looks smooth and decisive. Would love to see more videos on 17!
I gotta say... As a Bears fan, watching the defense over the last 2 to 3 seasons has been rough. We've historically been a team driven by defense, but we've had historically bad defenses over the last few seasons, breaking NFL records for points allowed per game. But what I've seen this preseason gives me so much hope and having a great defense is key to a rookie QB's success, so if the defense can continue what they've been doing, Caleb will have an even easier time adjusting. He can make a few mistakes in a game AND have a defense that will get him the ball back. That's extremely important... And I can't stress enough how garbage we've been on that side of the ball lol. So it's great to see them playing this well in preseason. No TDs allowed in the last 2 games. Crazy.
Caleb also had one of the worst defenses in college which led to him trying to play hero ball late in games to try and win
the bears used to have such elite defenses back in the day... good luck on this season!
The defense looked great last year. What planet do you live on?
Our defense was top 5 the second half of the season. Injuries plagued us for the first half. You sure you're a bears fan?
@@TheSAD999 Look who we played the last half of the season not really any offensive powerhouses
For reference, #13 is Keenan Allen, and #85 is Cole Kmet. 14 is Gerald Everett.
I think Caleb calmed down at the end of the half but when to see more structure
With how good the bears are going to be I like that you are critiquing them. It helps fans truthfully understand play by play of what’s going on. 🐻⬇️

Great video as always!
I will say - on behalf of my fellow Bears fans...you have to understand, we've had quite literally like 2 legit seasons in like 3 decades lol. We are just desperate for some competency and consistency. Ready to watch good football in Chicago!
Commin at you from Australia. Like the quickness factor you espouse-routes, throws & mentality. Reminds me of B. Roethlisberger to A. Brown in their primes. Love Brandon Ayuk - full bore every play & every route. Don’t force but don’t lollygag either. You crushed it JT😊
Gr8 breakdown - good stuff

THANK YOU!!!!
I love agreeing with you. Feels so good to hear what I've been spouting when I don't actually do this stuff for a living. Moore is not the X. And that's awesome. He's a top 5 Z which isn't bad. Jamaar Chase is a Z. Drafting Rome at 9 was to have a great X and let #2 be at his natural position. Moore is obviously still the #1, he just lines up at Z.
Love 76. All anyone had to do to save a td was blow him up on that run… no takers lol. Can’t blame em, especially preseason. Stay healthy big buddy, we need ya.
Looked like a rookie.
But those two WOW throws. Absolutely unreal.
that corner @15:48 is rookie Josh Newton impressive work against DJ moore!
@@SalvationsElite not great work apparently. JT discredited the great defensive play to yet again share his bad take that DJ Moore isn’t a stud WR.
OMG 🤣Just the dedication to the Hank takedown makes me spit up my Cheerios every time. You literally are my HS Coach when I was too slow to run the triple option.. Yo get that JD5 video up yesterday and don't you dare Patreon me with it!
He’s already so much better than fields is after 4 seasons, crazy.
Fields was always gonna need a few seasons to be the guy. It's unfortunate he was the started with no O line for those seasons instead of back up to a seasoned pro
@@Mighty_Atheismo If he were a backup to a seasoned pro, he'd never win the starting job and would always need a few seasons to be the guy. He is who he thought he was, an elite runner but bottom five passer.
@@Mighty_Atheismohe had the most time to throw last season… it’s not the o lines fault. It’s more so fields takes way to long to throw because he cant read a defense.
Lol not even close.
@@Mighty_Atheismo He looks terrible. JF will never be a starting QB after this year. He terrible.
This is the first sane take I've heard since the game yesterday. Caleb makes two splash plays toward the end of the half, that still weren't perfect, and everyone forgets about the rest of the game. Idk if the WRs just took the day off or what, but they looked like garbage the majority of the time they were out there. Kmet and Odunze (despite Odunze's lack of awareness in the end zone, which many are blaming on the end zone boundaries not being painted) seemed to be the only ones giving Caleb a chance out there. The rest may as well have been on the bench. Either the WRs and Caleb need to get on the same page fast, or the WRs and TE2 need to actually show up next time. Caleb, of course, could improve on making some plays on schedule and getting the ball out quicker, but he's a rookie and the WRs weren't exactly giving him much to work with. Caleb has a lot of talent, but we've seen a lot of talent from previous Bears QBs who couldn't execute when it mattered, and that's why they're not here anymore. Until the offense gets on the same page and starts to gel, I'm not going to be naming Caleb Williams is the next messiah like the cheerleaders in the media. He needs to prove it first, and yes that is also going to be dependent on how the rest of the offense plays. If the WRs give up or the o-line turns to swiss cheese, then this offense is not going to be successful regardless of who the QB is. Maybe they will be better when they can open up the playbook in regular season and when the rest of the offense decides to get off their ass and take things seriously, but they cannot play how they played on Saturday and expect to have a successful season, especially when you consider that the Bengals did not play their starters. Meanwhile, the media is claiming that the team is ready now and Caleb is the next Mahomes based on this performance.....pffft, clowns.
I think the most infuriating thing is that while the coaches seem to take Williams' development seriously, his veteran teammates sure don't.
I cant remember if the quote was from scott about talking to caleb or from caleb himself about the deep throw. He was saying his usual landmark wouldve been at the post but the backside safety was closing in fast which is why he put it just off the left hash to get scott to straighten out and run away from him.
Great stuff!
Thanx for the breakdown. Always look forward to your videos. Im a fan 👍🏾
I appreciate that
To be fair, have to add in the fact that Nate Davis at 22:30 can’t hold a block for 1.5 seconds was a pretty big contributor for that sack. Feel
Like he was definitely ready to throw that until he got hammered
I shouldn’t be one of those guys. Thank you for the video and the breakdown! Not only the quality and depth of the throws, but the fact that it came out 24 hours later is awesome!
I'm pretty sure JT called out Nate Davis for essentially trying to block one of his fellow o-linemen and knocking the other o-linemen off the block a couple times last year.
He is showing some nice flashes. We will see how the season goes and there will be some serious growing pains. So far, so good.
FYI Caleb Williams headset wasn't working at the beginning of the game. He didn't know what to do so he was basically making a plays on the fly
I like the criticism and questioning of the vets because when the regular season breakdowns come, we'll get the callbacks to the effort in the preseason.
When you say Moore doesn't look like a 1, do you mean on that route in the preseason or just how he looks on film as a whole over last season and predictably into this season?
Because if the tape tells you he isn't a #1, then either the Bears are screwed or the tape is lying to you.
If u watch hard knocks it’s very obvious DJ doesn’t wanna be playing. they are going thru the motions. but i do feel u about keenan idk
Thanks for heavily covering the bears. We appreciate it and need it 🤣👍🏻
Is there a possibility because it’s preseason week 2, that #13 and #14 mixed with the combination of simplistic offense and rookie qb that it all is meshing well. Effort might not be given 100%
17:17 "OH MY GOD, Perfect"
Im glad you said it seemed like they were trying to force touches. Watching every drive live just LOOKED like that were trying to force some touches and run sone specific types of plays
LOVE your breakdowns and calling players out!! Huge Bears fan and I agree, DJ was not running fast routes on these plays. Keep the videos coming, I don't need 'ear muffs'. LOL
@@Keithjhall saying DJ Moore isn’t a WR1 is a horrid take as a football fan let alone a bears fan
@@coldiceburnz8746 He's just saying he didn't run THAT route as a #1 receiver. Clearly, DJ is a solid 1. He also dogged on Allen. It's pre-season so we're not worried about it. Looking forward to the season!
@@Keithjhall literally not what he’s been saying for over a year. Go back and watch last season bear videos.
Dude has either a personal beef with Moore, or his ego refuses to let himself admit he has a bad take
Edit: literally remember last year Moore cooked a defender on a route and JT said it was blown coverage ignoring the fact it was blown bc DJ cooked the defender.
So Moore didn’t cook this defender on this route so not a 1. And last year he cooked a defender too much and got too much separation to be a number 1. See where it’s not adding up?
100% agree with your critiques on the receivers
I drafted Caleb and got Rome late rounds on fantasy. I think with Caleb’s out of pocket off schedule feel and capabilities him and Rome should find a good connection on many broken plays
21:40 you say if people saw justin do this they would be all over it, difference is this is calebs 2nd preseason game vs year 3 of fields
If it was Justin it would've been a strip sack.
don't worry 85 is out #1 TE Kmet is really good and I'm so happy at his progression throughout the years
Yeah, I liked the positive vibe JT gave Kmet. Kmet is underrated good. I've been reading that some people think that Everett will eventually get more snaps than Kmet, but if this game is any indicator Kmet's TE1 role is safe. There is more competition for #-of-touches/game this season so Kmet's numbers may go down in '24, but that will be a good problem.
(I still like Everett and think he was a good signing and gives the Bears quality depth at TE. But he doesn't looks like a TE1 to me).
It's funny how much JT used to flame Kmet last year.
Wonderful fair and balanced review.
@ 22:30. You can't compare Justin to that play because Justin was a 3-year starter already and was missing many wide open wrs like that every other game. Fans and people were getting sick of seeing that so that is why they complained. Caleb is a rookie it hasn't played a single NFL game yet.
Excellent work.
You da man

Caleb has a habit of hitching up into pressure. He often times escapes that pressure, but he is the one creating it in the first place
On the play to the back of the end zone, I wonder if the double white lines confused him? He looked pretty surprised/disappointed when he realized he was out of bounds.
Field conditions played a part in that Everett throw 100% he doesn’t miss those his clear got caught in the grass
Yo when this man praises a QB it’s to be respected I watched ALL his Justin fields vids past several years NIGHT AND DAY contrast between the two I never heard him talk so highly about the bears QB as a 40 year fan I’m so excited ❤
Well no matter what, this is gonna be an entertaining season for the bears.
Love the breakdown
DJ Moore admitted on Cole Kmet's podcast that they didn't really want to be out there against Buffalo, but started enjoying the game after the juices began to flow. I am hoping/thinking these guys are lazily running their routes due to it being a preseason game, which is no excuse! All the new players playing together need to play and care more to learn to mesh, especially when the games don't count! They played well during joint practices and maybe that got to their heads and didn't feel like doing it again on TV!
Keenan hasn’t looked great, but he was top 3 in yards per game last year behind Tyreek and Jjettas, so I’m not worried yet
I’d expect to some extent DJ Moore and Keenan Allen look slow because they’re not looking to ball out and/or show their best stuff in pre-season. Maybe I’m wrong, but im not really concerned about those 2.
CB at 15:54 is Josh Newton. Last season he was a senior at TCU. He’s a rookie!
It looks to me like 13 may have lost a step speed wise, and DJ Moore just looks to be not going 100% because it’s pre..
26:44 the throw looks so weird because his cleat gets caught on the turf. There was a clip going around Twitter showing his foot getting stuck in the ground. If not for that I have no doubt he completes that pass
Soldier Field turf monster strikes again. I have a feeling JT can speak on that, too, having played in the division.
You don’t understand why a team would want to force touches to new players in preseason???
preseason during JT's time in the league had different vibe and different goals. Or so my coach friend tells me. it used to be more about establishing offensive flow and rhythm, less about giving rookies/talent a shot to show off
For a while there, I forgot that Allen was 13 now, and was thinking that was Scott. For sure, Moore and Allen do not look like they are trying very hard out there. I think it'll all change when the lights come on for real, but woof. Also, Everett looks BAAAAAAAD. I feel like even Old Man Marcedes could run better routes at this point.
You're wondering why Shane Waldron is trying to force feed Gerald Everett the ball? Shane Waldron was TE coach in LA before he became the OC. They came to Seattle together and tried the same stuff (didn't work then either). Now they are reunited and up to it again.
Finally! Been waiting for this all weekend!🎉

JT, I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to clarify something-when I mentioned that I had been waiting all weekend, I was referring to my anticipation before the game. I understand the game was yesterday and appreciate that the content came out less than 24 hours afterward.
I also want to mention that JT is the best at game analysis and reviews. I don't even watch mainstream media anymore because I feel like they're all paid to talk up particular players. In my opinion, Agent Bagent is the best out of all three QBs. JT, I wish you were on that QB coaching squad! You'd get the up most respect for calling out all these trash plays.
Thanks for your hard work! I just wanted to clear up any confusion.
Great video.... appears Bear problems are still on that OLine.... #76 is the best when healthy, issues at the other 4 spots. Calebs awareness and feet will save on sacks.
28 on Cincy D is Newton from TCU... rookie acquired with pick from Mixon's trade iirc
He got that PBU on DJ Moore early in 1st Quarter
This McVay Scheme by new OC Waldron is not a great fit for Caleb. It's based on Timing and Caleb's coming from an Offense based on Space. Obviously he's great in space - not timing reads. Exos are a joke to analyze - but even here you see some horrible reads/timing from Caleb. Also his footwork in the pocket isn't great. Once he's in scramble mode - yes - he's amazing. Space - not Timing.
Problem is McVay's Scheme is a base Pro Timing Scheme. I would rather see some of Shanahan's guys like McDaniel or Slowik be running an offense for Caleb. Even McVay himself would maybe flex away from his normal scheme to suit Caleb's strengths. I see Waldron adding some things to "update" for Caleb - but I think in real games over the long haul this may not work.
The best I see from Waldron is giving him the green light to scramble. This is similar to what Monken did with Lamar last yr, but that scheme has a lot of Air Raid concepts mixed in - way better with scrambling qbs. The wrs are already in the mode of finding open spaces. This offense will be a quick timing scheme and total breakdown - or breakdown/scramble - hope that Caleb's athleticism saves the day... hmmm....
Reminds me of McNabb back when Reid was heavy WCO. Not a great match but due to Reid's expertise and McNabb's resilience and talent it worked to a degree. But I don't think we ever saw the best Donovan could be. Could end up the same here. Caleb is decent cause he's too talented to be outright bad. But will it be the best fit for Caleb? Will we see the best of Caleb?
Maybe in the real season Waldron will surprise me... NFL is evolving fast now ... never know...
Awesome analysis!
JT, is it common for vet WRs to half-ass routes in the preseason, or do we have a bigger problem on our hands?
I think 13 has taken a step back he looks way bigger aswell … but who knows guess we will see week 1
@@jackbrunk3907 very common. Which is why it was a weird thing to fixate on
@@coldiceburnz8746 got it. Thanks!
Hey can you do Bo Nix week two, it seemed like in a week be cleaned up every issue he had in game one, unbelievable
Here we go.
This is all well and good, but where's the Tyson Bagent breakdown? 😆
15:40 CIN #28 is 5th round rookie Josh Newton (TCU)
LETS GO!!!
What Moore is doing at 16:35 is not blowing out his acl in preseason. Okay. Sell the go when it actually counts.
People talk about Caleb finally getting it together after the first 3 drives, but what really happened is the vets sat and Caleb kept going with Rome as the #1 who actually has a reason to sell a GO in the preseason.
The two acquisitions from the Chargers, Allen and Everett, are both looking old and slow at this point. They're professionals and hopefully they round into form. But right now they're not earning extensions.
Preseason no one goes hard. Not right but reality
@@jermainemitchell2375 Caleb, Odunze and especially Kmet have been going hard - but they have to. I get it. But the veterans will need a bit more spring in their step once the games matter.
DJ was injured at practice this week but never came out, I think he’s gimpy on his ankle still, but he doesn’t like missing any time
He aint gonna change his opinion , Dj moore literally bulldozed three defenders by himself for an 5 extra yards after catch the game before this and he completely ignored it happening, not a word. That should tell ya enough, some people really can't admit to being wrong regardless "the tape" but we'll see when moore cooks again this year.
The commentary continues to get funnier and funnier. The high expectations + massive let downs from the weapons is a golden combination lol
Caleb is amazing on the run but I feel like him running is caused because he doesn’t hit the guys in time. His mistakes get forgotten because he does an amazing play later. But idk if that is going to fly against a real NFL defense
Adam Hoge of CHGO had it that the reason for that sensational play, and maybe why you're confused about him not throwing to Rome earlier on the big play, is that he might not be running what Caleb was expecting. There was some confusion on that play, supposedly.
I actually assumed that first play WAS to a tight end. But, ya know, Keenan Allen. He was never fast and now he's old. He basically IS a hybrid tight end.
☝️ That's bait. Lol.
I like the Keenan pick up but he does look like he’s lost a step or 2. He’s never been a burner but his route running has looked better. He’s getting locked up on the outside by most competent perimeter guys
Fan of JT's, but he was off the mark on the long throw to Scott, saying Caleb ideally should have led him toward the right post. Expanded view shows a safety on Scott's right that would have been well positioned for an interception. Chase Daniel's review makes the point, saying Williams had to keep the throw to the left. Pretty clear.
