Personally I didn't have a problem with the push/crosscheck whatever you want to call it, I think coyle should have been stronger on his skates and why wasn't he battling bennett? I mean it looked like he didn't even know he was there and he could have made more effort to get out of the goalies way but he kept on moving forward. I agree the integrity of the refereeing is bad and frankly the integrity of the NHL in my eyes has never been under this much scrutiny. You gotta make the rules black and white and have the refs call them as such there just seems to be to much of a grey or unknown area. Though on the flip side if the rules are black and white what's to stop a player from taking advantage of certain rules and push a guy here or dive here. I say enjoy the chaos for what it is and laugh at the dumb calls or maybe its time to give up watching such a confusing game. No one has the answers but I hope they figure something out and make the game better.
this boston bruins team is finding out like the 2022 panthers team.... panthers did the same nonsense to tampa bay and it didn't work out for barkov and huberdeau. playing the man vs playing the puck.... panthers are obviously focused on the prize and are not letting anyone/anything distract them.
Absolutely believe that the correct call was ...No goal due to goaltender interference.
Can't help to lament the fact that Sam Bennett scores such a big goal when he should have been suspended for a cheapshot,
suckerpunch injuring a Hall of Famer in Brad Marchand! Plus the rule book is not used properly to allow Bennett to score.
I am a diehard habs fan, and I hate the bruins... I completely agree with you though Jimmy!
The Bruins "excluding Swayman" is being outplayed, but it shouldn't take away from the fact that the official's/league has totally been on the Cat's side so far during this series!
I love that the Bruins is losing but I hate the cheating! I wonder if "betting" is creeping into what happens in some of those games?!
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the GM for the Florida Panthers is the son of the NHL's Director of Operations, Colin Campbell.
