Not exhausted from fighting the blue reverb for the light. Hell he wasn't even the black silence when he cleaved the pianist's head off. He was just a grade 1 fixer. If it wasn't for Argalia making him tired he would be a terror to face.

Everyone always talks about Binah and Geburah, and both of them deserve to, but don't forget, Roland erased himself half of the southern branch of The Middle, fought against the Librarians trying to kill Angela and barely survived, and still had the strength to repel Distorted Argalia for 6.9 days while Angela was inside the light AND STILL, battled against a Claw and an Arbiter after all of that. Trying to finish the reception for The Thumb by playing only with Roland is not precisely something easy to pull, but in lore, he was able to do that and even more, a lot more, fueled only by rage. What I'm saying is, (personally), Roland has earned a place between the other two legends besides him, and I would fear and respect all of them three as a team. A reformed Arbiter that now can freely disobey The Head, the first human to ever manifest her own EGO armor and effectively wield an EGO weapon, and the infamous obliterator of dear god knows if thousands of gangsters from The Fingers, formerly known as the Black Silence. The Library was truly an Impurity, and The Head was very wise when they chose to relocate it to The Outskirts. See you all in Limbus, lets's try and turn our Sinners into their own legends

Fear the Library. By the time Zena and Baral come to the Library, everyone has gone through their own realizations. Allowing Gebura and Binah to access their full strength as Red Mist and Arbiter. Also take a good look at Roland. Man's endurance and tenacity is through the roof. He dealt with Argalia, went through at least 1 floor in Black Silence reception, fought Distorted Argalia, and then went on to fight both Zena and Baral. Even if he was barely standing, no Grade 1 Fixer could ever stand up to Roland without being a Color Fixer themselves
Binah and Gebura may be pretty strong n' all, but Roland went through SO MUCH shit and still managed to fend off an Arbiter and a Claw. Bro went through his own reception where he had his shit beaten the hell out of, fought against an entire group of Distorted insane people, did ALL THAT and still managed to fend off the Head. Roland is just built different, man.
This may be late, but he DIDN'T EVEN GET A BREAK BEFORE HIS RECEPTION POST FIGHTING ARGALIA. So he faught a color, THEN got his shit kicked in during his reception, then dealt with the distorted insane people, and still managed to fend off the head. Even if he techincally isn't the original black silence, i say hes earned those gloves.

I’ve seen a lot of people describe Roland’s reception as “him getting his ass kicked” which seems to discredit the fact that before that he solod 70% fucking percent of the library, in no canon order meaning he killed both gebura in a 1v5 and Binah in a 1v5 (each assistant librarian is around SoTC level depending on the power theyre using more or less) which is farther than anyone else got, which puts him past the lights imitation of Kali, Lori, Xiao, and the entirety of the Reverberation ensemble (yet another color grade fixer) and only then did he fall to the remaining 3 floors. He then proceeds to fuck around and find out with a distorted color grade fixer (we have no idea how strong it was because there’s no 1-1 ratio for the strength increase from that but it’s probably pretty crazy from everything else we’ve seen) for a week strait without any rest. He killed the blue reverb for a second time in a week, and after all of this shit the head shows up because he wasnt tired enough and even in this sorry ass state manages to keep up with an Arbiter (corporation level threat) and a Claw (no real measurement on strength but tearing someone through reality 10 separate times counts for something) in a 1v2 before Gebura and Binah show up. At that point the head just gives up because they know their not gonna win a 3v2 with the Red Mist a retired Armbiter and a washed up grade nine fixer. Roland doing any one of these feats while fully rested alone would put him at color grade fixer+, but he did it back to back to back to back. TLDR Roland is a monster

I think it took me 15-25 attempts. I tried to do this again right now and it took me 13 attempts just to bring her HP in the single digits.
