Oh honey!!! I have missed you beyond belief! I feel so blessed to have found you again! All of our lives have changed! We lost my daddy, my 88 year old mother has moved in with us and I have lived through so much temptation to fall apart. But!! God is good. He is getting us through! Amen!! Bless your heart dealing with so much change! I’m so happy you love Colorado! You look fabulous! Younger, less stressed and happy. Welcome back my sweet friend!💗💗💗

I’m so glad you did a video and I found it! My dad used to build log houses, and even though I’ve never lived in one, and probably never will, I love them, and they have a special place in my heart. He’s in his 80s now… My sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. The things you have in your daily life as reminders of him, and that you use when making your beautiful crafts, are so lovely. I hadn’t seen your channel before, but I’m very excited to watch more of your videos. I loved everything about this video from start to finish! The lighting and sound were great, and things that some might see as imperfections (e. g., ceilings yet to be painted, hands😊), are, I think, wonderful things to see and know that everybody else has those too, and “life” (we literally also have a patch of ceiling to paint that might never get done as well). I can’t wait to see more! Thank you so much for sharing your time and beautiful projects. Sorry this message was so long, but I was so moved and wanted you to know, for what it was worth.😊

So true! I was able to see my Mom visit and bring joy to her Mother, but it was not really a reality to me as I was a young married with a child on the way. I look back and see how she did her best to bring joy.

Welcome back,so nice to see you again..I didn't live in a log cabin,but where i grew up we had to carry our water from a spring to do everything,we also had a outhouse until i left there at 18 years old,after i graduated high school.We lived in N.Y.State in the country,so i know what you are speaking of..

How wonderful that you tried to find me!! I appreciate that! I'm glad we came to Colorado. We were able to settle in so quickly because we've known this town since my parents moved here in 1995 and my brother is up in the Denver area. It's amazing country. I love that the river runs through the valley and we can go shop at the grocery store and pop over for a beautiful walk along the river.

Busy indeed you were, OH!!!😮 Snow, for we were the city that had what, think 135" of snow last year. Every other day in March it snow, this year a whole think only 1'all winter and not much COLD. ❤😊
Wow!! You musta had cabin fever last winter with all that snow!!! Glad it's a bit more mild this year for Minnesota. We've got some warm days now and my plants are starting to peek out of the dirt. I'm so glad you found me and hope you come back for more visits!!

I enjoyed your video so much! Loved your expression of faith at the end. I lost my husband 4 years ago to ALS and you are right - God is so good and he will never leave us. He guides us with his mighty right hand! My life is nothing like I thought it would be either. I’m at an age that I thought we would be busy planning our retirement. Instead I am a widow. (Still hate that word so much) His path for us is seldom what we think it will be. Yet I have seen His power, strength, comfort and blessings amid the storm and can say without a doubt that He walks with us through it all. I’m so sorry for your struggles over the past year + and for the ones that still seem to be ahead for you. Prayers and hugs for the journey. Back to stitching - I seem to share the same taste as you in stitching and look forward to future videos. (I need to go back and watch your previous ones now.) 😊❤

You go girl!!!! I was hesitant at first about doing videos because I was so new at returning to cross stitch and I had so many other hobbies to share my time. I encourage you to jump in and let me know when you post one. Think of it as just sharing what you would share with a friend who came to visit. You'll get an occasional negative comment, but that's rare. I just delete it and let the voices of those who want to visit with me sink in and those are the ones I think about when I'm chatting away at a screen!!!!

I'm so glad you got to come by for a visit and see my new sewing room and all the quilts I get to display!! The quilt on the wood shelf is quite a Frankenstein Quilt...meaning its lots of different designs combined to make that one. I'll share it in detail on my next Quilting Video, so I can share all the lovely changes I made and the closeup of the stitching. I should be doing that in the next week or so. I can totally relate to your struggles with your Dad. My dad also had dementia and didn't want help either...not even from me. So hard. But God is good...all the time!
Susan, I'm so glad you found me!!! It's funny, I lived in Cucamonga...just up the street from Ontario!!!! Your Bonnie musta been a sweatheart if she was your favorite!!! Yes, dementia is horrible. It was rough, but it was also an honor to have helped him. He was a good man.

Debra, I love Durango!!! My husband and I had a great mini vacation there about 20 years ago while my parents watched the kids. So darling. We took the steam train back to Silverton. Yes, as our life gets more settled, I'd be interested in seeing a time to meet up. Let's keep in touch. Maybe a planned time with other stitchers in the area!!!!
