- The New World June Announcement takes place at the Summer Game Fest on June 7. However, thanks to leaks, datamining and teasers from the devs, we already have tons of information about the potential content coming with the announcement, both in Season 6 and Season 7. One of those things is the console release along with a new UI. There will be a new Raid as well as a FFA PvP zone called "Condemned Shallows". Swimming will be added to the game, as well as likely a barbershop.

So, we‘re expecting a dev team, which has not managed to release a single patch without causing major issues and countless bugs for over 2 years, to now flawlessly release an absolutely monumental patch that somehow singlehandedly saves the game? Yeah, I believe it when I see it.
i dont think anything they can do or release would save this game...
I still very much enjoy your New World update videos. Not playing currently myself, but I like keeping up to date to see if i wanna jump back in and you're the only NW youtuber im still subscribed to.

sadly it is highly doubtful NW will bounce back and capture the potential this game once had. AGS really mucked this up.
I don't expect it to ever bounce back on PC. But for console it's a new experience so it MIGHT be different if they can finally get a handle on the bugs (doubtful)

@@CRONKTEZ oh absolutely not the majority of that is spent AFK in town talking in discord wondering what I should do or playing from my phone chopping trees at work for giggles because anything else is botted like crazy so it's more like 7k hours spent in old school RuneScape with new world in the background

Point blank. They promised to be transparent and continue to communicate with us. They decided to not honor that, cut off communication, and troll us for expecting them to honor the promise they made to the community.

Seems like Shattered Mountain or Great Cleave would be another great zone for a Vampire and Werewolf release area. I don't see Vampires or Werewolves in the tropics. Thanks for the vid Duke!
They have the tech with based on day/night time, mobs changes.
Deadman cove, ghosts spawns only at night time, they could do this with werewolves and vampires.
humans change to werewolves at night, and vampires only go outside at night.
@@VeNoMz_ Deadmans Cove is straight up pirate theme. If vampires and werewolves were to ever come the most relevant place to have them is Brightwood. The abandoned churches, cemeteries, foggy and creepy vibes there is perfect. If something like this is placed elsewhere it would make zero sense

I near sure that fridays trailer isnabout new world reboot(something like ff online did in past). W8 to see a lot of pve and pvp content as well . Its the last dance from them to us i think. Hope to get things better.

I really don't think there will ever be a lightning dmg weapon, since that seems reserved for artifacts and would be too OP if used in conjunction with them
I really want a lightning based staff or gauntlet!
Hope they fix the Balance of Power patch they just did. I keep crashing every 4-5 mins. Checking files on Steam, rebooting...doesn't help.
I cant w8 until the devs announce that they will dont plan to add any new or update the already existing shallow endgame content. God i hope i will be wrong

God, I hope the Fridays announcement is goods. Although this is not my main MMO, Ive still played it since launch and Im so hungry for some more engaging content.
Also, it would be so boring if they just add werewolves and vampires as new enemy model, would be cooler if they could make them obtainable race-change instead. Kinda like ESO has it.
I used to love this game and supported it way longer than I should have. Somewhere deep down I hope they start knocking it out of the park and revive the game, but I have serious, serious doubts. It will be too little, too late. They will come with one big really decent update, finally a chance to build momentum, and then nothing for a year...
I feel like AGS waited too long and is too deep in the hole to climb out of at this point. Nothing they say at this point will bring this game back into a positive light. You might see a slight uptick in population whenever this new update drops but it’s going to severely hit rock bottom a month later.
hopefully they fix the Gear Score bug, people are exploiting it in pvp and wars but AGS Devs dont care about that side in new world. Even tho that side is their most loyal
Really glad this came up in my feed in spite of not really looking into NW much since I last stopped playing after Brimstone. I'm really glad they're still putting work into NW. It's sad it's become a bit of a joke in the MMO community....I don't really feel it's completely deserved at this point. I actually look forward to some of these potential updates and it might actually get me to hop back in, buy the expansion, etc. I do enjoy *playing* the game, I just left because of some of the systems and jank that bugged me (and my entire community leaving the game).
As with the release of the game im not expecting anything special about the full announcement. I am glad that they are actually trying to do something though. NW is like napoleon dynamite, you either love or hate it.
I still enjoy playing the game from time to time. But in all honesty, this is the last time I will ever care what they say about upcoming content. This better be really freaking awesome.

im hesitant to try the latest patch after freezing in OPR mid air a million times and rage quitting a few weeks ago. i know people quit due to a lack of content but i have a feeling more people quit because of how buggy the game can be. ive been playing since release pretty much and ive had to quit several times due to game breaking (pvp breaking) bugs. i just want to pvp
Doing a "re-release" of the game, like FF did, makes sense when imo. It feels like the game has been in early-access, and is just now doing a proper release. If it goes cross-platform and has a large influx of new console players, you would want a way to put new and existing players on a similar playing field. Including real changes to gameplay systems, in conjunction with fresh start servers, would give PC players a reason to start over and join the new servers with the console players. Personally, I'd love to wipe everything and start over with a fresh player base and the current systems in place.
Game would be popular again if it would be full loot zones like in Albion online. There are your high tier full loot zone where the best resources are but there are also lower tier zones where theres no pvp involved and people can still pve and chill
full loot zones would further kill the game. as half the player base of 5900 are PVE and that would cause them to not play those zones or quit and move on.

@@fluxx7217 no albion has a stable ish player base because it wasnt terribly miss managed the entire time it was out....
I think what we’ll be getting this Friday is an official Roadmap for the rest of the year. My prediction is that Console Release and Fresh Start servers will be the first thing on the radar. Then, they’ll release the new PvE and PvP content a month or two later. That would really help create some momentum for new players, which is exactly what the game has been missing in the past.
Doesn't matter if they give you a roadmap, they postponed and fell threw on the last one. Also, half of what they put on this "roadmap" can't even be classified as content... bug fixes are not content, reskinned zones are not content, fresh start servers... not content, game re-coding is not content, console release also is, guess what, not content. The game is a scam for suckers, I'm sorry if you haven't realized this

Hype! For me anyways, i don't take the game that seriously so it's a fun casual game.
I really hope they will allow console players to join PC servers and PC players join console fresh servers. Otherwise there will be very very limited benefit on PC side. It also takes 2 months top to become BIS so i don't know what is the point of fresh servers anymore. They are for grind heavy games that NW isn't one of them at all at this point..

Could be the best announcement in the world. Doesn't solve the dogshit dev team problem. It's been 2 years and they still haven't released a single working patch yet. They still have pretty big bugs with weapon perks not working ever.
I hate that daggers ain't coming.. Kinda loosing hope. Big sad. It's one of those reasons why I am not actively playing New World. We've seen the daggers before release, they have some work done for them.. it's like waiting for my class and other weapons doesn't feel "mine". Hard to explain.
They will drop an announcement then apply it by 2025 for sure! :D

I've played since launch & have 3,500 hrs or so few breaks here and there (work full time) I dont feel ripped off for a $40 dollar game i've payed more for others that ive spent 10 hrs on & insta uninstalled. for those who have 8k hrs in this thats insane!!! This shit shouldn't be your life!!! I really do hope the news brings something of interest otherwise i cant be bothered playing it anymore either the end game loop is small & boring, timezones dont work for me where i stay. If you want an Asian server play on Delos there heaps of Indonesian & Filipino there

Id come back if there was a new OPR map and fresh start, otherwise seems like there is nothing new. Raid? Couldnt care less, those and expeditions are things you dont once and never go back to.
not exited for fresh start, but i think with new fresh start the old servers will die out

Hope they add ability to remove all floating text. More immersive pve combat without numbers floating would be sweet
It’s really cool to constantly see doom takes all the time on all platforms and all chat. Should really increase the playerbase and keep players around 👍🏼
If they made the game actually work the negative comments would go away...
If the devs weren’t completely dog water at their job there wouldn’t be as many doomed takes.

The game NEEDS free to play to stay alive imo, console is defo a good step but the problem is they need pc players. if they open the game to console and dont do anything else that will make the game good it will just become a console MMO with a dead PC playerbase
Really hope they change the PvP zone from FFA to groups of five. FFA is going be unbelievably boring - can't play with friends, forces a small handful of cheese builds, encourages teaming.
If it’s a FFA people will team up with muskets and ruin the zone, it’s not that hard to realize open world pvp has to be the most unbalanced and worst PvP possible in the game.
@@JEROBI37 Nah. Influence races were super fun. FFA is just inherently bad - 1v1 Arena should exist, for sure, but FFA is a waste of resources.

This game will not reach the month of October, the sharp drop in players and the decrease in the price of gold, this game is no longer attractive for polymers, this game needs a new and new idea, maybe it will come back again.
I’m not really excited at all. For a player with more than a thousand hours of game play since day one. I think the Devs messed up bad I it might take more than a few upgrades like swimming or a boring hippo, bear mount. More content is much needed and it’s not pvp island. I need something to add a thousand more hours. Big disappointment ! Spoiler alert

They lied and underdelivered every time. They promised to improve their communication with the Community - but they just stopped communicating at all.
They promised to fix their patching-system (you re-downloaded basically the whole game every time a "small patch" went live) but still to this day the patches have a size of 40GB+ and you still have to check file integrity every time a patch went through.
They promised to improve their Combat System to make changes faster, yet we ran almost 2 months from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 with NO bugfixes at all. There are an abundance of bugs and exploits still in the game since its release, never to be fixed.
As of right now, after almost 2 months, we got a new patch which broke the following:
Stamina gets double consumed if you dodge after blocking, aiming, weapon swapping and also certain skills with longer animations.
Game is prone to crash to desktop at any time as soon as you join any instanced content (oh and you get deserter debuff).
Daily login rewards, daily expedition rewards and Role rewards are broken, you just dont get them.
Elite Chests randomly dont reset their daily timer.
Teleporting into any instanced content has a big chance of you spawning into solid rock.
Input delays for certain weapons are delayed extremely, feels like a 500ms+ Ping.
Whats happening right now is the last straw that broke the camels back for everyone who still wanted the Game to succeed, but there isnt any hope of success with their Team.
They failed to deliver for 3 years, they lied to their Community for 3 years and this is what they reap.
NW is just so cheeks anymore. It’s just sad lol. It’s the same 2-4K homies keeping it alive
I quit new world in april. I had 8k hours and became a war logger for the last few months. My life has changed. I don't think I'll play new world again. But, I hope AGS figures it out.

Yes, a lot of collective hysteria. Of course the game really has a lot of problems and needs correction and feedback, but I don't see any reason for so much hate and pessimism.

This community is the worst I've seen in this way, full negativity. I come from FO76 and the game was way worse in launch than NW but the community has never been so toxic and this is something that has participate to save the game. When I see all the comments on Reddit or YT for NW, I think this community is as much the problem as the dev's leadership

@@Rad_Kad It is meant to attract attention so it can be fixed faster. Game is old asf and its been the same bugs since launch. I think the game has massive potential i personally have 1600 hrs in it. Great combat and graphics that tie into nice pvp imo tje selling point. But patch after patch they release nothing but pve crap and skins. A new weapon every 3-6 months and new oprs is what it will take to thrive outside of bug fixes.
So, New World is still on the struggle bus without a real path. It's still dead, and players aren't going to be coming back.
I feel it needs to come to consoles or something cuz the game is dying.
