Just 5 seconds in, the giant cat made from blocks moving around using video imput is one of the most adorable and incredible things I have ever seen. That would be amazing to just see moving around in a Minecraft world.

Most of these such as calculator and computer dont use any fancy redstone. They are basically just breadboard circuts implemented in minecraft.

Redstone is basically the core of what a real computer does and uses. A bit, a 0 or 1 signal, thats what redstone basically is and since that is the core of every computer and software, you can actually build computers and other technology in minecraft using redstone.
