Baron, I was impressed with the way you played all five! Great bluegrass licks added to make them so appropriate for bluegrass jamming! I also was happy you had taught me all five tunes and I know them. Now, if I could only add those variations, blue notes and pick up my speed… Thanks! Dan Brooks
Great lesson to help guide us through the 100's of tunes!
Three that are popular at my Jam:
Angeline the Baker
Old Joe Clark
Cherokee Shuffle
Whiskey Before Breakfast (always a favorite)
Big Sciota (This one too)
Funny, I lived near the Sciota river for 3 1/2 years and didn't know where it was or what this tune was about until I researched it...
Damn he is really , good wish I could just get that strumming down never seems to happen, very hard love whatching him & his teaching I have learned a few things thank you sir I'll keep watching I hope one day I'll get it
Thanks for this! Billy in the low ground hasn't come up at my jam, but the others sure have,
Red Haired Boy was originally a Bagpipe Tune... A rather old one...
I have played all of these but need to brush up on some of them. Great tunes.
Nice thank you!
