i read it in 24 hours AND OMG THE BEST BOOK EVER! keeps you on your edge and had my heart racing the whole tiem. and that ending tho 🧐
It was SOOOO good! Can't wait for the sequel in September!

NO CAUSE I FEEL SO SMART, from like the middle of the book I was like, what if Toby ISNT dead. and BAM, SHAPOW!!! The ending had me on my KNEES I was so anxious to read the second book, but I finally got it a week later. Im like halfway through the second book btw (Not saying anything). Jeez im so wrapped up in this book, and JAMESON HAWTHORE IS SO FINE!!

I suspected Skye was the one who had been
launched Drake to kill Avery the moment it became certain that Libby wasn’t his accomplice and I was so happy when my guess turned out to be correct. Also I started wondering what if Toby wasn’t dead really? I thought that it was Avery’s father who was Toby bcz she was like,”I know this man!” and then when I read it was Harry everything clicked into place... this was the reason he was introduced in the beginning.It’s funny that the book started with him and ended with him.
Hoping to read the sequel next month.Fingers 🤞

Loved the book. At the end, I felt like I missed the answer to a big question. Avery reflects often on her mother telling her she has a secret about the day she was born. That wasn’t revealed, right? Did I miss something?
No, that wasn't revealed, I think the next book is going to focus on whatever that secret is. Thanks for watching!
I totally agree about the love triangle, I did not want romance from the beginning bc she kept dropping hints but it was very small and not in your face so i’m not mad about it??
EXACTLY!!! I didn't want it to be a whole big love triangle and it really didn't feel like it was thrown in my face or make the whole plot about it!
I enjoyed the book but what I really wanna know is... did she pass the second exam with the same score?

I didn't think the love triangle was necessary tbh and that ruined the book for me because the plot was soooo interesting by itself lol
I think I'm scarred from love triangles so this one wasn't too bad to me 😂

I kinda think the secret that Avery's mother was talking about is that Tobias and Avery's mother have a son cause in the end Xander saw the name Tobias Hawthorne II.. That's just my theory..
