The carbon Tower takes care of the flex.

  • @JoannaJedrzejczyksForehead

It is to take out the flex (the polymer towers to flex) while being lighter than Aluminum

+Kenny mph Melanko thanks I may just try the 26mm foams on the rear and do a speed test with those. My action drift video is up now. czcams.com/video/wneBAoHaK7k/video.html

Towers take out the flex so the shocks do the work. :)

Yeah, but stock parts seem pretty strong as-is. I wasn't expecting it would add so much weight. Use the strongest lightweight material then you need lots of heavy hardware to align the shocks. LOL

L Joel I agree with you Joe the carbon fiber shock Towers. The flex so the shocks can perform better

Has the wheel offset issue ever been "solved" yet? The Stampede hexes are 7mm, could you run 9mm hexes and a thin shim? Would enough axle thread be left to mount wheels? This is one thing keeping me from buying this car, the lack of ease of wheel swapping. I'm trying to find a solution to this issue before I buy anything.

Substitute clear nail polish for CA glue

I do complain quite a bit in this video, so apologies if that annoys you. I try to be positive about RC but when I encounter something I don't like I tend to mention it. Anyway.. it's a FUN car, even if aftermarket wheels are a PITA to get right.

By any chance have you measured the backspacing of the stock 4 tec wheels? I'd like to know for my roller build. www.rc-race-and-drift-japan.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=20
If manufacturers would list their wheel offsets then it's easy to figure out what backspacing to buy the first time. I found this and it gets backspacing issues in the ballpark. www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-drifting-304/11109670-hpi-wheel-offsets-stated-vs-actual-measurments.html?styleid=3

Netcruzer RC TECH CARS to fit the blower, maybe angle the motor so the wires run along the side

You would be better off to use bsr foams and be happy. I've always had that clearance problem with contacts.

Someday yes.. the VXL chassis only version does have them, plus some other stronger parts. I'll try to get those parts eventually.
