The blue dial is all sold out now but there's a green dial too that you can pre-order!
NOOO
if there's a red dial I'm sold!
That was quick, I was too early for the pre-order window when I last checked so I left it a couple of days and now they're gone 😂
I think the green looks even better.
Curious if you don't mind, what is the size of the wrist it's shown on in your video? Mine are only 6" in circumference and I'm really hoping this isn't going to be too large for me.
We forgive you for not reading the rest of our email. Thanks so much for taking the time to review our watch!
Lovely piece there, kudos.
It's absolutely gorgeous, a genuine masterpiece. I wish I could afford one, because I know it'll sell out, but congratulations on producing it!
I hope there will be further colours, the green is not for me, if there are, I will buy one, although I already have 4 CW watches!
Kudos to you for bringing the mechanical chime watch to us mere mortals
Guys, you are really challenging the status-quo. Keep it up and thank you for your efforts! Unfortunately the blue dial is already sold out ...
This is what smart watchmaking is about. This is what we need more of. Kudos to the Christopher Ward team behind the Bel Canto.
Thanks, Siong!
All are sold out now….😢 The fact they didn’t put a logo on the dial shows how well this is done. They knew it was, as you said, a masterpiece!
I had never considered owning a Christopher Ward before. That’s now changed. My jaw dropped when I saw this Bel Canto and I preordered the green 20 minutes ago. Unbelievable. Masterpiece.
I have 3 of their watches. They’re great VFM. Well built for their prices.
damn ur rich asf

In English means?
Congrats! Such a cool watch.
I picked up the blue dial and last year picked up the Concept. CW has become one of my favorite brands!
I've owned 16 of their watches and I'm grinning from ear to ear now that they're finally getting their well overdue recognition!
Thanks so much. We really appreciate your support.
@@ChristopherWardWatches I'd love to own one but it seems you aren't even making them available for purchase. Seems like a weird move to me
Completely agree. I have a large C W collection and it is great that they are getting proper recognition. They are great watches and a great bunch of people to deal with.
sir are you from india?

As you say, it's a masterpiece -- a brilliant achievement by Christopher Ward. Kudos to the team who designed and built this. 👏
Thanks so much!
I love how rapid prototyping tech was made cheap (part of the "user friendly" 3D Printing revolution) and it's now FINALLY trusted to develop masterpieces such as this.
I learned of this release late and missed out on the Azul dial sadly. I've admired Christopher Ward from afar for 2 years now. I do not own one. I have awaited a final product bereft of the old logo, something more understated, and witnessed the progression of the brand. They are absolutely taking off. So, this morning when I saw an email from CW I did not hesitate, didn't even think. I placed my order for the Verde dial as fast as possible. Now to see my favorite horological CZcams channel feature the timepiece I am absolutely floored and brimming with excitement. This will be such a joy and pleasure to adorn on my wrist and train my ear to listen for the chime. In the key of D. A drop of sun. Bravo CW. This truly is your finest hour.
Finally, something out of the ordinary for a reasonable price. I would never thought that CW was able to make such a unique timepiece. Well done to the development team!
well, they do have other unique timepieces in their catalogue. This is by far the more outlandish, though.
Very cool what they've done and you've done an amazing job selling us on it. Really put Christopher Ward on the map for me. Not because they're "cheap", but because it makes me feel they do what they do for the art of mechanical watches. There's no marketing talk, there's no doing things the certain way only because it sounds good on paper and allows the price to be inflated. It feels honest which is something more brands could do with.
*PLEASE DO AN INTERVIEW WITH THE ENGINEERS.....!*
I would LOVE to hear their story - this is a new era in watches - rapid prototyping - Id love to hear more about it.
I love ChrWard and everything they've done so far. Mr. France thank you for making the watch world a better place. And thank you Watchfinder for another great episode.
Thanks so much, Sam. We'll pass this on to Mike.
It’s a stunning piece. Congratulations to the CW team for producing this!
Thank you!
This is the first watch in a really, really long time that really impressed me. And the way you presented it is as masterful as the watch itself. Too bad this is out of my league, but nothing stops me from admiring it. I hope they find their way into the wrists of people that can truly appreciate them
Don't telegram this fool, he's a scammer.
Have loved this brand for the past 7 years, they keep upping their game and producing interesting high quality watches at incredible prices. Great to see a British watch company flourishing and pushing the boundaries. Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you!
Its probably the best brand for the enthusiast. They are priced so well and they have a huge, loyal fanbase.
Thanks, Younus.
I was a Christopher Ward fan anyway (I have two). But this elevates them to a new level. Great work, and good for the British watchmaking industry too.
Back to what you guys do best. Beautiful video, beautiful watch. More please!
Congratulations to everyone at Christopher ward. Great to see a company clearly full of passionate people really pushing themselves to achieve something. It’s a beauty.
My finger hovered over the buy button for the green dial but I couldn’t get the thought of my mortgage advisor spanking my little bum into next Tuesday. Hope I don’t live to regret it. Signed up to your newsletter though.
Thanks, Sam!
I own 3 CW watches and I am very happy with them, I have just ordered my Bel Canto , SS & Purple, I look forward to receiving it in about 8 months.
What's SS?
I have 2 Christopher Ward watches and can’t fault either of them. Value for money and customer service is brilliant. Keep up the good work!
Good to see Watchfinder back on track! You are awesome guys!!!
Great review. I am very excited about this piece! As a proud owner of a CW C11 for a number of years, and always receiving great customer service, I was gutted to have missed the blue dial. Fortunately saw the email and purchased a green dial before selling out and can not wait to wear!! Congratulations Christopher Ward. You've shook the watch market!!
If Christopher Ward continues with these kinds of creations, I could see them becoming a juggernaut in the Swiss watch industry.
Such a great achievement for Christopher Ward. I do hope to see more watches like this from the brand.
Hopefully not limited editions.
Stay tuned!
@@ChristopherWardWatches Yes, please! Make more of them, I want to buy one.
Please make this a batch order staple under specialties! Wonderful!
This one is also not limited, only the color is
I had goosebumps when the question was for Spotting that Theres No Logo….!!!!!
Just woww…..i did missed the Blue dial but never too late….
Already The Black is on Order…..
Cant wait for it to chime on my wrist….!!!!
Wonderful Video and Description for an evenly Wonderful piece of Beauty…!!!
Keep going…❤❤❤
Thank you Watchfinder for covering this watch. Amazing indeed. I agree 100% that this is game changing!
Brilliant job, CW. I've always compared them to Lotus, who take off the shelf parts bin from Toyota, GM and others and create supercars. This is ultimately why this hobby is so edifying. I'm glad you gave us the opportunity to spend a few minutes learning about this engineering achievement. For a moment, we're spared of going nuts over pepsi bezels and palm fronds, or whether tool watches should have sunray dials. Look forward to owning a Bel Canto in the future!
Well said!
I've never been particularly drawn to CW pieces, but this is gorgeous and a big step up.
That logo line at the end. Got me... got me so bloody well.
Incredible review and commentary. I have never considered pulling the trigger on a watch of this price, but considering it now. This is what watchmaking should be, dedication to the craft and to the wearer, not continuing to pump profit out of reputation and status. Whether I can get hands on one of these or not, thank you so much!
So basically CW showed the big boys that horology, isn't out of reach and innovation is not just making a watch more water resistant. Plus I just noticed that, that CW just mixed Rolex and Omega releases in one, the titanium, and the sonnerie of the Omega. CW has come out to play, and their future seems rather brilliant.
This is such a great watch! An incredible achievement for CW.
Thanks, Andrea!
@@ChristopherWardWatches you're watches have an incredible value proposition and this is not an exception. At the moment I have only one CW piece in my collection, but you're catalogue is full of great pieces, so I hope to add other pieces in the future. Go on with the great job you're doing!
A brilliant release that I was not expecting. I will be adding this to my short-list, which is also something I didn't think I would say about a CW watch. With other color variations coming out, if the "right" one comes along it will be a possible insta-purchase.
A stunning watch which I first noticed was the absence of a ‘brand name’. Accompanied as always by your mellifluous, articulate and measured tones. Great as always.
My favorite detail about the Bel Canto is NO logos. What a feat, and Christopher Ward makes no apologies. He lets the watch do the talking. Conversely, though Grand Seiko makes excellent watches, they use three different clashing fonts for their SEIKO, GS, and GRAND SEIKO logos, an eyesore. Spring drive aside, Grand Seiko's design acumen pales in comparison to their European counterparts. Christopher Ward has taste. On the Bel Canto, however, there is no reason to say "Swiss Made" either.
I was trying to figure out what I liked about this. Thanks 👍
The Independ/Microbrand scene is now so sophisticated and advanced that you can get excellent watches with unusual complications for $2-3k and for $4-6k you can get you Grail Level watches that would cost 4-10x as much from the traditional brands. It's a wonderful time to be a Watch collector.
😊
At least when spending 4k on this, you actually feel like it is worth the price.
Unlike many other brands with their unrealistic pricing based on marketing.
Excellent video, Watchfinder at its purest
Absolutely love this watch and love the phrase ‘Visual Pasta’ as so many of these types of watches end up looking. Superb engineering for a price which can be considered as affordable. Well done CW.
They just emailed out the next batch of Bel Canto for Pre order. 4 new colors: Cielo (light blue), Viola (purple), Nero (black), Rosa (light pink/orange). Check your email if you already signed up for the Waitlist
I do think there is a catch. It's a darned limited edition. If this were a regular series, I'd without a doubt consider it eventually. What a watch this is. Absolutely magisterial.
They are now taking preorders for a different colour way if you want to get on the list!
@@paulchamberlain2067 I want to! I'm just not… able to. Hahahaha
It is a regular series now
@@ekimandersom4478 Oh my God, it is!
@@betog.6229 Yeah i just ordered one
What a masterclass almost out of nowhere! Incredible. I want one!
This is a game changer indeed. I see brilliant, creative thinking and a determination to lead, rather follow. I really like it. Thank you Andrew and team, and thank you CW for showing us, and the Swiss, how it should be done. 👋👍
I'm a big fan of the Bel Canto doubt I'd ever wear one (even if I could afford it) seeing CW push the boat out and take a risk on something out of their traditional wheelhouse and smash it is a wonderful thing. Just seen the green one which is not available till July next year has sold out as well. Well done CW.
Don't reply to this telegram it's a con man praying on your desires.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I've never considered a Christopher Ward before, but this has made me think again. Unfortunately I can't afford it at the moment, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the brand to see what they come up with next. A genuine masterpiece.
Thanks for your kind words!
First, that was a nice bit of writing: informative, well structured, and just a little bit cheeky!
Second, thanks for pointing out the innovations in design and manufacturing that were developed while creating this masterpiece. New and innovative ways to create and mock up untried ideas is not just a great way to keep development costs down, but shines a beacon towards a future for the industry that leads to exciting new vistas.
Third, gorgeous watch!
Would love to see more watches like this. Amazing job Christopher Ward 🙌🏻
Christopher Ward is a nice guy, not like that Rolex kinda guy who wants to do filthy things before he'll put you on a wait list.
Well it sold out in one day so you might end up having to do filthy things anyway.
He's nothing to do with company anymore
The absence the logo is a much louder statement than any logo can make. Its so beautiful that they couldn’t find in their heart to ruin it with something as vulgar as a logo.
This channel is like reading poetry about watches. Love it!
I am amazed. Beautiful watch! Excellent video quality too.
Wonderful watch. Thank you for showcasing it.
This is epic workmanship.
So glad you finally have a Christopher Ward. I have, and continue to enjoy my perfectly proportioned 38mm C60.
Great the team have been so innovativel, in so many ways.
Wow 🤩 the best review of this watch anywhere till now !
Another professional presentation.
Thank you 🙂
I think the world needs more of this. Watches should be beautiful and affordable, something that more people can showcase and love and it will not break a bank. Stunning watch, absolute masterpiece, really want to get my hands on one some day
This is amazing! What a gorgeous, unusual piece. Heard from CW. I can’t afford to watch at this price range but I’ll tell you if I could and knew about it in time I’d be punk and down my four grand without a second thought. This is a great example of how modern technology can make watches that used to be handmade can now be made much more cheaply with no decrease in quality. Bravo CW!
This is art. Bring back the blue dials!
Probably the best watch review I've ever watched. Truly Bel Canto 🙏
A very well done watch and story line. Appreciate your video, and now Christopher Ward even more.
Great review! I've ordered one of the blue dial versions (the last in the series, No.300 in fact). I love a mechanical watch with a novel or unusual complexity. Having been wearing an Apple Ultra lately that chimes on the hour, it is actually useful to note the passage of time during the day by the hour striking. So the idea of an hourly chime (as opposed to a minute repeater - leaving aside the complexity and cost of such movements) sounded useful. I already own several CW watches inc the C60 Concept with the SH21 movement. The Concept is very well made and finished. As another titanium watch, I appreciate the comfort and lightness of this material. While this watch is marmite to some (usually because people don't like that CW released a green dial LE version immediately after launching the blue dial version which sold out in 8 hours - only to be followed by the green dial selling out in even less time!) it is once again an opportunity for people to buy something innovative at a price far below what might be charged by more well-known brands and made in Switzerland as opposed to being made (or copied) elsewhere at bargain prices with poor quality control.
Frankly, I love to support a British watchmaker/designer and I love how CW keeps it feet on the ground through direct selling. The fact that they are British designed and bulit in Switzerland doesn't bother me. Switzerland, like for example Germany and Japan (and England of course), remain places where assembly of decent products creates quality items. These watches will remain niche given their limited production. It doesn't matter that, other than among enthusiasts, the CW brand doesn't have the same caché as the well-known (and mostly) Swiss brands. Most people cannot buy certain brands that have priced themselves on the grey market way beyond anything remotely affordable. There are now two markets. On the one hand, the rarified silliness of a few big name brands bought by seriously wealthy collectors and/or worn by big-name promoters, and occasionaly bought by people placing investment value above horological desire. And on the other hand, a world of premier brands, independents and microbrands where retail prices are usually the price paid (with some discounting sometimes) and flippers do not corrupt the market place. If CW keep making innovative and quality watches at "reasonable" prices, then they will continue to get support from watch lovers and especially from me.
Oh man, this is going to be an instant timeless classic.
Missed the blue dial yesterday while working, didn't miss the email on the green dial today and placed the pre order.
Christopher Ward holds a special place in my watch journey, as I slowly built up the courage to spend more and more.
My trusty Trident 300m with the orange bezel is still going strong, almost a decade later. Sees a lot of wrist time during baseball season (Giants) and all of October 🎃
Wow. What a watch. What an endeavour. What a great story. I’m so pleased for Christopher Ward. Just honest hard work and intelligent outside the box thinking and streamlined simple elegant engineering. Well done indeed.
Great video as always AM 😊
I just ordered the green one! Looks really nice. A green, semi-open movement with a hourly chime? Yes please!
I love the solo reviews you do, the script, the 'voice' the ones you do with your jokey friend not so much.
Nice work guys at CW. Thanks Andrew
This is a stunning beautiful time piece!
Outstanding review! I ordered my Cielo (light blue) version yesterday. It's gonna be a long 8 months filled with anticipation!
Simply stunning. Wow. By far the watch that has caught my attention most of all the reviews on this channel. Beautiful.
The lack of a logo was the first thing I noticed and appreciated. Makes me thing I should sell off some of my collection to pick one of these up. Crazy intriguing.
Great review - was lucky enough to get an invite to CW's pre-release presentation and to get my order in for the blue dial version in before it went on general release - having seen your review, I can't wait for it to arrive!
That bit about branding with the logo gets me deep somewhere. Kudos to that team for making something that's more than their brand.
Game changer! Perfect description 👌
Clap-clap-clap-clap-clap...!!!
A masterpiece indeed!
In. Every. Single. Aspect.
The poetry of praises in this video is well deserved.
Bravo Cristofer Ward for giving us the Bel Canto! And thank you Andrew for this wonderful review.
I’ve considered C.W. before (C1 Moonglow), but now I WILL be saving up for the Bel Canto. Congrats Christopher Ward and thank you!
Extraordinary and perfect engineering, I like it.
The watch and presentation caught my eye immediately excellent!
Superb watch great video 👍. The information about the design team and prototype manufacture is fascinating, thank you.
I want one! Your content is so perfect! Thank you
The design is so beautiful, specially the hidden little bird 😍
Loved the watch. Booked one for myself. Got the Light blue color.
Brilliant watch and near the top of my list to buy next! Keep it up CW! ❤
I can’t believe I missed both blue and green. Both times I was on a flight, gutted as really don’t want to have to buy this on the grey market. Beautiful piece.
Wow, very nice and it becomes nicer when you know its story.
I just got mine and it’s absolutely stunning! I love it. Defo a forever watch for the collection.
Amazing. Shame it's sold out. Hope they make a lot more. You are right about the prices of watches becoming stupid over the years. Even once affordable brands like seiko and grand seiko are going up into the next price brackets so it's nice to find some that are making things that should cost a lot more but are keeping the pricing respectable. I recently got a vintage seiko Bellmatic and it's a nice watch that shows that brands used to make such things at an affordable price range for something with a bell mechanism inside it.
Absolutely lovely watch and Im very glad to see CW going this direction. I have owned several Tridents, and other specialty models (motorracing), quality has always been good and they look really spectacular
Absolutely beautiful, I can imagine any future editions will sell out fast! Great work from the team at CW 👍
CW is now taking orders for four new colors.
For the longest time I have looked at Christopher Ward with mild-mannered disinterest. Truly recognising they are great quality and good design but that brand just never really connected with me me. This watch changes this completely! I defenately see a Christopher Ward watch on my wrist in my future at some point. Great job on your part to save the best for last: no logo! Now that's confidence! I love it!
Absolutely lovely! The best watch from CW. The fun fact is that I work in Maidenhead and I kept postponing a visit to the factory showroom. Now I have a very good reason. I wonder if they have one to try on!
Stunning piece. Will get one now ...
Great presentation of a great achievement by CW! A spectacular piece; imo it trumps many much bigger names!! Bravissimo!
I like it a lot and also like they way they made it happen. Very nice symmetry, depth, clutter free and size. Also appreciate the balls to leave the logo out! The future looks bright for version 2 once this is sold off, where I (as a total layman) would appreciate some slight beveling of some parts and a better connection between the face and movement parts above it. Right now the face feels a bit like an unpainted canvas. Anyway a super good piece at this price point! Congratulations CW!
Their logo is horrible, I do like some of their watches but the logo and name design is terrible in all its iterations.
Thank you for such a wonderful piece.
So much poetic description. I know you are in love with this watch.
Actually smart watches are more fun and useful to wear.
Exquisite !! No more words are necessary.
CW is always on my watch list. They are nailing it in 2022 and this watch is undeniably great.
Wonderful combination of form and function at an affordable price. For me, that’s just extraordinary. Bravo!
