Museum of Science and Tech

If you are into science then maybe you’ll agree with our family, this is one of the biggest, best and most exciting science museums in our hemisphere. It is our favorite!
Housed in a pavilion built for the 1893 Chicago World’s fair,
With over 2,000 exhibits spread throughout 75 large halls this place is huge and will take you 6 to 12 hours to explore.
There’s a full-sized Germain submarine, Boeing 727 airplane, railroad trains and cars, spacecraft, a several story coal mine, a toy factory….no a real toy factory that shows how a toy is created from start to finish. For a small fee you can even take home the one you watch being built.
There’s also a permanent body exhibit, similar to Body Worlds, lots of exhibits on the human body, genetics,
There’s even an ice cream parlor and cinema inside, also an IMAX, children play areas, a planetarium, and many other semi-permanent and traveling exhibits.
There is a large cafeteria and several places to eat if you bring your own food.
I’ve been here twice and it is one of my most favorite museums ever! We love this place and can’t get enough.
