Sartaaj is a Sufi singer, so basically all his songs are from this genre ie. The sufi genre and on top of that they do have a significant meaning. This one was awesome! The song is not about love between a man and a woman but the bond between human and god (not god in the abrahamic sense of the word but more so consciousness that the buddha and the Sufis talked about).

He's not talking only modern days love He's talking about the love towards god. When in English we use word drink most of the time it's about alcohol (Just an example) but According to sufism word love (Ishq) means Love towards god only unless there is no person mentioned. Like drink water or Cola etc. When ever you see such attire in a video always keep love towards god in mind then listen it'll make more sense for you and 'll be easy to understand
