Flying home from CPT to JHB i only use SAA. They use their flag carrier aircrafts and its good value for money. Even before they went into business rescue they had the best business class meals.
We agree that value for money was very good. Compared to many European or US full fare airlines, SAA is way above!
Very comfortable and good food...enjoy the trip..

Good food does not make up for the antiquated aircraft and questionable safety standards. I would rather choose Air Mauritius 😮
While this A340 is not the newest indeed It seemed in generally good condition. It doesn’t fly very often (when we flew it it only did 2 sectors each day). Average age of SAA fleet is around 10 years, nothing unusual. Air Mauritius is a great option also but the flight timings of SAA was better. Can’t comment on safety of them as that’s a very difficult thing to figure out behind the scenes. Thank you for watching our video🥰
