Purtroppo gentaglia come Biden, Von Der Layden, Meloni e Macron, ci impediscono di usare aerei migliori e più comodi. Speriamo che le cose cambino...

17 years old isn't actually much for an airliner, it's quite new by aviation standards. In fact this is a Russian version of B-757, even modernised in some aspects (for example fly-by-wire controls are implemented there). I believe the delay was caused by the way things are done in Cuba, not the aircraft itself. I know something of that as a pilot regularly flying to Cuba.

As a Venezuelan, I take pride in saying that Los Roques is the most beautiful place in the entire Caribbean.

Venezuela is very safe to visit. It was very dangerous in 2015 to 2019, but since 2020 crime rate has dropped around 80%, There is a sensation of security in the streets because you see anyone talking on their smartphones or buying stuff on street vendors. Public transportation is also safe, but not very good service and dissapears by nightfall, so you could use some apps like "riddery" or "yummi" that works in big cities and there's many methods of paying for the service, international or national currency. If you bring cash you need low denomination bills, and international cards are accepted righ now in many business, ask before buying to keep your cash for when you really need it or there are also a few shops that accepts zelle or credit cards payments in exchange for cash, but credit cards have a high percentage for using it, plus the percentage of the place for the transaction, its a bit high. Local population is very kind and helpfull, and very protective of tourist... also local law enforcement will be respectull of tourist because they dont want bad publicity, so the problems of venezuelan population and police might not be the same with tourist, don't expect extorsions, just be respectull and they would be too and you'll have no problem... BUT DONT ILLEGAL STUFF, do drugs or try looking for someone dealing with drugs, because you could be looking for criminals that are gonna keep an eye or follow you... also, you REALLY DON'T WANT to be in a venezuelan jail or prison. I wouldn't even recommend having a small amount for personal use because even if the police could oversee it and let you go, they could also and most certainly will, take you to jail just to take every ammount of money you have to let you go, and they would not probably let you off for under 20K... so be more carefull and respect the laws to keep police enforcement radar away from you. Dont do illegal stuff, you will be fine...
