      Good to hear they are doing fine, great job! I am sorry, I am bit bad with remembering all variety name and here we call them just as Hybrid Vinca. Know about Cora Vinca as it has disease resistance capability. Thank you!

    when it is 35 degrees should it be kept in shade?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 3 měsíci

      Not direct shade..but filtered sunlight would be ideal. Though in my place, sometimes temp goes up to 35-37 and normally it stays at 32-34. I provide them direct sunlight and don't get any issue. Thank you!

    How to make vinca bushy. I have lot of flowers in my vinca but it is long/ legy. I want to keep short and bushy like your vinca plants. How to achieve that?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 2 měsíci

      You would like the buy the Hybrid variety and would need more sunlight. Also, avoid fertilizing them too much, specially the Nitrogen. All the best!

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 3 měsíci

      Need to be kept in shade and would need to protect from too much direct rainfall. By doing these two things we can save them. If you like, you can fertilize once in 2-3 months. Good luck and Sir is not required actually!

    30 grams for 6-8 inch ..is it not too much? Will it cause any leaf burn or anything like that?

      @suparnalokare8866, NO, all are organic. And, please note that, it's Organic or BIO DAP and I have mentioned it (both oral and written info provided). If we use 30 grams Chemical DAP, any plants would die within 24 hours.

      @sohamyadav6264, Thank you very much and sir is not required actually! Hibiscus is bit sensitive plant and they don't like if we move them here and there. Buds fall off and even when I buy plants from nursery, buds started falling off initially. After somedays they get adjusted in their new environment and bloom well.
      I also have a bit doubt whether they would bloom under green net or not...here in nurseries, all keep under full sunlight. The leaves get burned or wilt as they get exposed to full sunlight immediately. You an try exposing them to direct sunlight gradually..like 1 hour for the first 2-3 days, 2 hours for next 2-3 days and so on..Morning sunlight won't be harmful and 5-6 hours would be sufficient.
      I already checked your comment and these plants are there with you from last 4-5 years and they have been doing great. So, I don't think you are doing anything wrong at all. Just allow them sometimes to settle down. You can mist them with plain water when keeping under direct sun. Wish you all the best and would like to hear about your plants in coming days!
      EDIT - You can also apply Micro-nutrients (spray on the leaves) and Potassium Humate on the soil.
