    Hello!
    Thank you for yet another amazing video! I'm encountering a similar situation to the one you had with your hydrangea. Mine has started blooming, but she's still in her pot and not yet in the ground. I'm a bit worried that when I do plant her in the soil, she might go into shock. Do you happen to have a video addressing what to do if this happens or how to prevent it beforehand?
    Thank you! 🙂

    can i repot bougainvilleas now or in the first week of march? i am from kolkata and winter is almost over here. also what organic fertilizers should i apply in my older bougainvillea plantts which is in a 10 inch pot. looking to regrow the foliage of the older plants as the leaves dried off due to lack of water as i was not home for a few weeks.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Now or even in the first week of March, no any problem. Good to know and I am from your neighboring state Assam. No worries, leaves anyway fall off during this time and new leaves would start grow very soon. They are waiting just for the first rainfall in the Spring. Fertilizers for 10 inc pot - 2-3 handful of Vermicompost + 10-15 grams mustard cake powder + 25-30 grams Bone meal. If mustard cake if not available, simply increase the % of Vermicompost (Mustard cake works really well though) You would see lots of fresh growth very soon, all the best!

      You can..but, flowering would depends on variety. The same Hydrangea (which I have shown here) growing well as of now and blooming too. I would upload a detailed video very soon where I would provide few very important info about varieties. As your plant is looking dry n no leaves, better to prune. It won't bloom at current stage anyway.

    Hello! How many days is required for a newly planted hydrangeas to bloom?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Very tough to answer as it depends on the current stage of the plant. But still, for new and small cutting, it would take minimum 60-70 days for the buds (depends on many factors though). The flowers last for many days. For better result, please go for plant which already has buds on them. Here is one of my old video with 99 day's updates - czcams.com/video/dOtjIqAqxpE/video.html

      Use DAP fertilizers. One spoon around the corners of pot.
      Or you can trim all and restart again.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 3 měsíci

      @vandana5575, Sorry for the late reply. Since leaves are already green and big, it's already getting enough nitrogen. Please don't apply DAP now..it would make it grow even more. Instead, you can apply fertilizers containing Potassium + Phosphorus. For example, you can apply Single Super Phosphate (apply on soil, once in 25-30 days) and Potassium Nitrate (Spray on leaves once in 7-10 days). Along with that, you can try applying Nitrobenzene. On this short video I have talked about it - czcams.com/users/shortsym0uRT0wdu0
      Wish you all the best and hope it blooms this year.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 3 měsíci

      It would be bit difficult as summer temp is quite high in Delhi. You would need to keep them only in shade and water well. They need lots of water. Fertilize once in 25-30 days and they should be doing good. In extreme hot weather, you can mist on the leaves. Soon, I would upload a video with more details and updates..thank you!

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Před 3 měsíci

      Sorry to hear but 10 days is bit early and it would be much better to repot. No worries even if you don't want to do. After some days plant should be doing well as again, it's bit early for active growth on Hydrangea. Once we do all process, it would take minimum 25-30 days to see some fresh growths with buds on our plant. Only healthy plant can show result within 10 days (after applying organic fertilizers) Whatever components I have used, all are organic. So, they won't act so quickly and would take time. Good luck!
