Just remembering that nice snow outside. I just came home from the hospital after being shot at work. After all those years being out plowing these storms, just to watch what else was happening in the other areas that I wasn't plowing. I miss all the FUN LOL😎😎😎😎👍👍👍
Then there are 4 wheel drive vehicles with summer or all season tires on that are poor in the snow. In the winter I use either BFG All Terrain T/As or a Blizzak type tire. My 2wd Ranger with good winter tires and weight in the back gets around quite well in the winter.
I was plowing in a parking lot in Frederick during this storm. Their was no way to keep up with that storm. Only way to get around during that storm was with a plow truck or a tractor.
Need some weight!! I'm a sub for MDSHA and they don't give everyone a load of salt for weight, just a scoop of RC2 which wasn't shit. Plus alot of them guys go too slow. You need some momentum to push that much snow. I was working on PA ave/RT 4 at dc line to calvert county line and I was the only sub to not break down, get stuck, or go off the road, my 06 Pete 379 exthd didn't let me down!! 54 hours on that storm alone, was a hell of a payday!!!

Half the time the plow trucks get stuck in traffic like everyone else. It’s not like plows are equipped with magic wands that keep them out of traffic jams or keep the road clear until they make another pass. And in extreme storms states have no choice but to call the plows back. It makes no sense to strand workers knowing they can no longer safely keep up with a storm. Money won’t buy perfect roads and in your case it won’t buy common sense.
That was a fun time hope we get this much again
That was I fun time hope we get this much again
I live pretty close to there and remember this storm. 3 feet of snow at my house and no school for over a week. Absolutely historic
A HUGE thank you to all the hard working crews who had to be out in that and cleared the roads.
I hope it snows like this in Alabama this year

I remember that! I was stuck in the snow for an hour until someone got me out
I live in Frederick and when this happened the roads were no good for like 3 days and everyone’s car was pretty much covered completely to the roof
I am in Baltimore. That was a good storm.
I have a 2 wheel drive quad and have plowed 1 ft of snow and never had that much trouble
I had to take my raptor 700r to the store...it was very hard
I remember this , the snow was up to my waste
I am. Still waiting for the. Plow to come down my street it’s now 2018 in October Yea you know the street
I was stuck at work for 3 days
Tire chains work wonders.
Pegleg Noid
Yeah, with over a foot of snow on extended sections of road and drifts that exceeded 3 feet it all comes down to who has chains.
that would suck being stranded at a Popeyes
I'd probably gain some weight
Thats a comedy if your from N.H.
Heck, what they need is a Western Star 6X6 .. that'll open "them streets."

I knew this happened up north, but I didn’t know it got this cold in Maryland.

LOL this dude just standing and filming these people being stuck
So...you want him to do what?
CW
Ever considered helping those people out instead of just filming their plight? Good video, otherwise.
I live around the area and there was nothing you could do to help. The only people on the roads that weekend were plows.
Well if the state and town would keep plowing this would not happen tax dollar at work
They tried that but the snow kept coming heavy and heavier so they stopped. It snowed for two days straight
825Daryl if u do not plow the roads like some of us don't say anything negative that you know nothing about
jjr897 yea ok that why i got 5 plow trucks
