Its true when people say you can learn something new everyday. I've been doing tree braids for 5 yrs and I have never tried this technique. This looks as though it takes way less time, you don't have to worry about the client's own hair ending up in the loose strands, and anybody can do this, even as a DIY. You did a great job and it looks really neat. I will be trying this technique the next time I do tree braids. Thanks for teaching me something new:) Take care!

To me this technique is the original weave. ...way back in the day before hair was on tracks...back in the 80's BUT I've never seen it were as the actual braids were left hanging. ..this I'd interesting

You are a great teacher. I,too, have been doing Tree braids for a while & have learned many techniques by trial and error. I also do a perimeter braid like I start out my sew ins. Only difference is that I connect both side braids into in the back in stead of four different braids, just the two meeting in the back...You speak slowly and clearly! Easy to follow! Awesome!

I like how detailed your videos are and how you give step-by-step instructions on every little step. I can appreciate it because the intricate details is what can make or break a style. Your videos are the first that I've found where I can actually implement your tips and get better in my technique. Thank you, your work is truly appreciated!

I never knew this was what Tree braids were. My Aunt was doing this 17 years ago in Baltimore when I moved up for college. The only difference is she was using curly hair and was adding a piece and leaving both edges out every several times as she braided the cornrow. It was mostly for ponytails.

This helped me out so much! I have seen quite a few treebraiding tutorials, but this one cleared up how each area of the treebraiding is supposed to look. It also cleared up how to pull out the pieces of extension as we are braiding our hair. Thank you so much!!

Breanna, I'm so mad. You make this look so easy, but it ain''t. I tried my first one and wasn't able to get the hair in in a consistent manner. Like add a strand every 2 turns. So I had some sparse spots and had to fill them in with the crochet method. Additionally to secure them, I used glue on the fake hair ONLY! I guess no one learned how to walk the first time we ever tried to learn. So I'm going to keep trying. Thanks for your tutorial again.
