  • How To: Tree Braids | Step by Step | Very Detailed
    This style was requested actually. Tree braids takes patience and are time consuming but well worth it in the end. Tree braids are very versatile and can last between 6-8 weeks with the correct hair texture choice and proper maintenance. If you are a beginner but know how to braid this style can easily be mastered, just take your time and practice, practice, practice.

    *)Update On Hair:
    I am going to give my honest opinion about this hair. This hair was really cute and easy to work with but the hair tangled bad after like 3 days of her wearing it. I wouldn't recommend this hair texture for this style based on you spend a nice amount of time creating this style for the hair not to last the expected amount of time, so I advise you to purchase....

    This is beautiful!! I love tree braids! When living in ATL (late 90' & 2000's) I got tree braids all the time. They are protective, take less time than any other braids and blends into your own hair and looks very natural. My stylist only used 2 1/2 to 3 packs of hair. It was beautiful. Thank you for this tutorial. I hope more stylists can learn this and bring it back.

      @@latoshastar This is a little different from TREEBRAIDING. I only used human hair, l braided in a circle or front to back. No one was doing this in LA in the 80's...l made big bucks. It was the only hair technique l did for 11 years!

    This isnt a new process. It was called "interlock" back in the day. This process goes back as far as 1985. Beautiful results.

      Ynvme2013 where I am from they have always called it tree braids. Must depend on the demographic.

      Yep...we called them Tie braids in Detroit. I've been getting them since at least 1989 when I had my son.

    This is sooo beautiful. OAN this brand of hair tangled on me so bad, it was a pain in the ass. Definitely not low maintenance hair.

    • @latoshastar
      @latoshastar  Před 4 lety +2

      HershyK21 It dose tangle but the trick for me was to install it long and once it starts getting tangled or nappy at the ends just trim that part off lol I remember when I used this hair I started with almost waist length hair and about 2 months later when taking it down I had a cute bob lol
