    Hi L. Segev
    I have Internet speed from my provider up to 500mb.
    I have done wired testing using my M1 iPad and tests are correct.
    But using the same device if I do the test using Wi-Fi next to the router. Then Wi-Fi speed drops to 200mb. Some times even less.
    My Wi-Fi router provided by the company was not the best. I bought separately 2 routers for £100 each.
    I have Linksys Router MX4200.
    I contacted my provider with the results. The only answer they have is there’s no guarantee on what speeds I get over Wi-Fi. ( even if the device is next to the router. )
    I think 🤔 the company is taking Rubbish and not providing the speeds some how over Wi-Fi.
    Thanks for ur amazing videos. Keep up the job. And thanks for reading this message. 👍🙏

      Was it Ziply Fiber? I had an issue with them on this exact issue. I was using coax connection with Xfinity at 900 down but switched to Ziply fiber 1Gb speed up/down. WiFi couldn’t get above 250-ish no matter where I was. Tried a Eero Pro 6e, TP link, Asus WiFi 6E routers all brand new and all hit the same speeds. They still said the same thing it’s not guaranteed. I found it incredibly strange the WiFi speeds were limited but only with this provider. I did not have this issue and could get over 700 down with Xfinity but typical throughout the house would be 300-500. Hardline of course gave me best speed of 900. I canceled with Ziply and the Director of Engineering contacted me trying to continue troubleshooting but they wanted to charge me to test further. No thanks. Something on their end is limiting it. And of course typical network guys jumped down my throat on Reddit saying it was my network and it’s not possible. I had to take a video showing my WiFi speeds with Xfinity compared to Ziply. It’s not my network.

    I know sometimes routers are not always the culprit on internet lag or poor signal. I would like to know which ISP would you prefer that has no problems with the internet speeds because i see that your upload is always close or the same as your download speed. The highest my isp provides is 35 mbps upload and 1200 mbps download. But no matter what i do and fix i always get lag and loss of packets. Like always, my isp says nothing is wrong in their end. So do you think i better just change to fiber optic from Verizon or any other service that provides fiber connection?

I get that the router uses 2.4Ghz, 5g, and Wifi 6 simultaneously to offer the best speed available in all 3 ratings. What a my 2.4 connection is b or g but the five gig, that's a N class and back comparable. Regardless of how many multi-user multi-input multi output channels are bound together, divided up equally amongst the demands, and it doesn't matter if the router accepted a full T3 of10gig fiber connections... , My 2.4 ghz g wifi adapter will NOT connect any faster than it's original top speed.

    • @LironSegev
      @LironSegev  Před rokem

      You are mixing up a whole bunch of things into one. If your 2.4Ghz tops out at 600Mbps, that is the max you will get on that device. What WiFi 7 does is identify which devices need what kind of bandwidth and how to get the maximum to it. So your 2.4Ghz device will get as close to 600Mbps as possible but you aren't going to get 1Gbps.However, with the way it manages the data, that device will get optimized traffic.
      Now add a several devices of WiFi 6 and WiFi 5 and the router will optimize traffic and bandwidth to each one.

      depends on what you do. If you just browse the web and send emails, then you don't.

    Netgear already had a WiFi seven router

    • @LironSegev
      @LironSegev  Před rokem

      I didn't say TP-Link has the only WiFi 7 router. Besides, Netgear's one is not a Mesh system but just a router, its 19Gbps (this one is 22Gbps) and Netgear's one is only available in August. This one is available in June. But hey - you buy the one you want.

    I hav full fibre optic cable that goes all the way to my house so no need for gimmicks like that. My ISP have the fastest speed on the market in UK.

    • @LironSegev
      @LironSegev  Před rokem +1

      Just some questions: so once the fiber is in your house, how do you connect to it? Clearly you have a lan cable attached to your phone right? and one to your TV right? how about your tablet or smart speaker - all with cables right?
      I mean you dont dare use a "gimmick" like WiFi? pfttt thats for losers

      CAt6e has a theoretical speed of 1Gbps. So in theory, this is way faster. Also no urge to connect my phone to a lan cable :)

    There are no wifi 7 clients in existence, so there is no advantage over WiFi 6e at the moment. The clients he has are connecting at 6e speeds. If he had compared 6e to 7 there would be no difference.

    • @LironSegev
      @LironSegev  Před rokem +2

      Actually that is not accurate. The OnePlus has WiFi 7 as an example. Also if you saw the tests just using existing tech with WiFi 7 makes a huge difference. But is it mainstream yet? no. Are new laptops/ computers/ phones going to come out with WiFi 7? if CES and Mobile World Congress is anything to go by, then yes.

    Should we call the Router for what it really is, a 5G Router, with skills, but what i don't understand is, are you saying, that even with a mobile phone, running only 2G/3G/4G LTE, is going to be faster as well, without the magic Wi-Fi 7 antenna build into your phone...???
