    This is probably one of the better videos that I've seen in a while. First of all it makes perfect sense after you broke it down in dissected it. It definitely opens my eyes it makes me want to look at naps a lot closer. Thank you so much for putting this out. Very nice

    Some great tips here. Another good tip is to turn on the satellite view in the map. Easy way to uncover some great locations based on shoreline geography!

      Thanks Chad! Agreed, there can be a wealth of good information provided by the satellite image!

    I noticed your youtube championship belt in the background :-) I'm hoping you guys do another championship the whole series was great especially you guys giving each other hell.
    I've been watching a lot of Kayak Catfishes videos and he tells some of the things he looks for or where he fishes but this has helped me undertand a lot more what he is talking about.

    Really good Denny. I did this exact thing last weekend. I marked some fish bu they wouldn’t bite. I’m doing the unthinkable and doing the exact same thing on Saturday just have some new ideas to get them to bite. Love this video. Nice work.

      Thanks Dag! If you have to wait for the fish to turn on, it's best to be waiting where they are ;) Good luck this weekend!

    My head would have exploded after looking at that map, that lake sure has a lot more character than our lakes 😵😵😵 But now I know what I should be looking out for 👌

    Great explanation. I'd love to see more breakdowns and maybe even on the water time following the breakdown to show it in action.

    How would you fish a muddy river bottom with a rocky point with a creek dumping into the river in the middle of the point that on the down current side of the point it hourse shoes into a Sandy bottom.

    Great info Denny. What apps do you use for maps?

    • @FloatFishAdventure
      @FloatFishAdventure  Před 5 lety +3

      I use the Navionics web app (free) to look things over in advance and build a plan. That's what I made the screen shots out of for the video. I also have their mobile app (Boating HD) installed on my phone to get me into an area I want. Then I just rely on my sonar so I'm working off actual bottom contours to fine tune my position. The map chips for the sonar units are nice but I just don't fish enough open water to justify the cost. The phone app is only like $20 for the year, which is a lot easier to swallow
