Not that homes don’t matter, but with two health centers decimated, that’s alarming, especially for older folks and those with chronic conditions. I wonder if the medical records even still exist with all that water damage and no roofs. I hope they seek international assistance because this needs more than money. Need innovative buildings as hurricanes are a way of life.

I had an idea while watching these videos. Do you think building forward, some chicken wire mesh would be too expensive to ove-lay the roof eaves before the roof actually goes on? This way even if the roof blows off again there will still be a foundation at least to lay a tarp. Just a thought. And then again, how much more expensive are shingles for these tiny houses.

A tarp to cover roof’s that have blown off would be the absolute necessity for people to own.
40 ‘ ft * 40’ ft or 20’ ft * 20’ ft for smaller shack’s.
Also in the absence of a chainsaw to remove large tree’s & debris. A farm tractor with a good length of thick chain, tie it round , and drag it to a safer location until it can be disposed of, so that crew’s can get in to repair power line’s .
