superb lesson with great video shooting of fingering details
I learned this from anyone can play guitar. You adding a few extra embellishments, helped give me a couple extra ideas. Sounded great. Thx.
Really enjoyed this clear walk through - great level of pace and detail explaining what's going on. Thank you Tom.
The best videos on you tube for Robert Johnson’s style . He has it nailed
I found your lessons a few years ago and they are the absolute best in this genre. Thank you, and please keep it up, the world needs this music.
I have played songs on an acoustic guitar. But. It wasn't until I got the thumb independence with all fingers in sync and playing this type of blues that i feel like I'm making music
Excellent stuff. Well done. I will always love this kind of music 👍
Wonderful lesson Tom! Detailed and succinct. I really appreciate your teaching style. Thanks for sharing. 👍
I feel like I know you after years of following your work starting with stephan . I just want to say your influence has improved my playing and for that I wanna thank You!

Excellent lesson, thank you!
Wow...really good stuff...love it....thanks for posting!
You really nailed that lesson. I learned it pretty fast or its just the perfect acoustic song. Really fun! Love the country blues twang.
Thank you 🙏 for the lesson. Very well explained and easy to watch. Good on ya!!! Look forward to more content. Some more of that deep swampy delta stuff.🎶🎸
Thanks Abram!
wow! perfect in timing, explaining and repeating at the right spots. these are the best 25 minutes to spend in delta blues guitar lesson since. at least to me. thanks.

You are a lengend Tom !
Nice job
Keep the great lessons
I tried learning it a couple of years ago, but found it too difficult. I've been learning a lot from Brian @ Active Melody. Now that I have better skill under my belt, I'm finding it more doable! Thank Tom, I am now subscribed and plan to stream lesson. God bless you.
Growth comes when it comes…the often not talked about truth. You can work on something for years and never get it, move on to something else and then go back and suddenly it unlocks.
@@PlayCountryBlues I understand, I see it.

Tom, such wonderful lessons! Every video a treasure. Would you be kind enough to tell me what guitar you are using here?
Спасибо за Ваш канал!!!
damn your good man!
Such an amazing lesson, this one, thanks for sharing it, Tom - had to comment twice, it's that good! Those Scrapper Blackwell embellishments are just great. Is that what Keb Mo' in fact does on his version? I could never quite get what he was doing...

Great playing. I’ll try to pick it up 🆙. BTW what kind of guitar are you playing? I want a parlor size guitar that is melodic but not loud and can put out the smooth sound of the old Delta players. Yours is the closest I’ve heard. It sounds perfect. Thanks for sharing. 👍☮️🌞🎸💜
it looks to me most of these old styles are played on 3/4 size, "beater" acoustics, is that tradition, functional or ease of play? Sound?
Thats far from a beater........$4k Flammang......
what's Guitarbrand you playing?

what about blues in E
Great video Tom!
How does Robert Johnson get such amazing vibrato on songs like ‘come on in my kitchen’?
Do you suspect he was using a bottleneck or would it have been made of a different material?
Thanks!
Mitchell Man. Probably a bottleneck as that would’ve been the easiest material to find. However, vibrato has really nothing to do with the type of slide used and everything to do with the players technique.
