Aurora said she wrote this about how in school, she tried so hard to fit in with these group of girls even though they showed no interest in wanting to be her friend & she also saw somebody demand respect from another person and that stuck with her. The way she articulates emotions for things that some people won’t see as a big deal is so beautiful.

As much as I love how everyone reacts to her live performances....and as much as I get why(she's THAT good live)...I'm really happy you chose to react to the studio song and music video.
Something about this video is SUPER cathartic and visceral to me. The way she moves and the expression on her face from like 1:00 to 2:00 or so is just....intense. It's like the mix of desperate yearning aching hope and joy and anguish all at once. She's a very captivating and charismatic person....and that really comes across in this music video.
She has a way with words🥰❤
I think the line " I had to walk away" gives grounds for hope. To me that means she/the protagonist left an unhealthy relationship to find something better for herself.
I love this idea of Dualism... that everything belongs together ... and every detail belongs to a greater part... that darkness is not only darkness and vice versa... especially the moment, when both aspects meet on the ladder. It doesn't matter who is climbing up or down. It is the same... and i guess it is our choice how we see ourselves. As a victim or a surviver... this song gives me chills anyway... the words are so deep, and so are the visuals... 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
This song got me thinking, which way is, up? Society says you should be one way, but a lot of us struggle to be that, which brings on sadness and depression, however, those are the people who accomplish amazing things, art, music, novels, movies, and even invention. They are who we all strive to be, and that not what society says is normal. Which way is up?

i think the end of the video is depicting the fact that even though you can prevail out of a situation and rise up from it, there will always be other situations where you will fall at first. you will never rise above every single thing in life, but for those that you can, there is acceptance of the things you cant change and move on to another part of your life

I love your interpretation of this song. To me I think it represents the journey to healing. You have to go through the cycle again and again and sometimes you plunge back into the pain and darkness before you can climb towards the light and even when you get to the light you carry the darkness with you which you have to struggle against. I know this struggle from experience. It does get better and as time goes on there is more light than darkness.

For me the video (not the song) shows how it can go from one unhealthy relationship to the next unhealthy relationship. She finally manages to break away and climbs up the ladder, only to arrive at the top of her goal to land back in this cave.
The song for me says that you shouldn't pretend or change just to belong somewhere. People who don't value you for who you are don't deserve you. Find people who take you as you are.

Au -(as in Australia) and rora (as in the name Rory but A instead of Y)
Instead of the word Aura, you just add «or» before the last a.....like this Aur-or-a

Its hard to find the correct pronounciation in english, cause you dont use the same «Au» sound as in Norwegian. ☺️

I just love everything this girl does I absolutely adore her. Her humanity her love for the planet the animals and even the bugs she loves there is no one like her she is Purity. I think at the end the representation of the two and the ladder I think like most things you have to hit bottom before you can pull yourself up that is how I see it I see her victorious.
