I’ve seen YES Many times and I was so shocked over this performance I couldn’t bear to go back stage and meet them. I didn’t want to remember them like this. Please, Please, retire. You’re to great of a band to go down like this…
I've seen Yes over 20 times, with numerous line-ups. I wouldn't have thought there was anyway they could play this song without Jon Anderson, Patrick Moraz, or Chris Squire. Very admirable job. I'd have been happy to have seen this performance live! Howe was spot on, as always! The lead singer deserves kudos for doing a very good Jon Anderson!
@@gaelsebastiani2198 I get it. I certainly haven't paid to see Yes without Anderson. Chris Squire, likewise, is sorely missed. I'd pay to see Anderson solo. I've seen some of his solo performances on CZcams, and he sounds great. Shame that the members of Yes could never reconcile their differences with Anderson.
@@gaelsebastiani2198to me only Steve Howe and Geoffrey Downes are outstanding I think I am so disappointed that Alan White wasn’t able to play the drums anymore already in 2019
I didn't even get through the introduction of the song and i already didn't like it. But as l listened, that singer did do l great job doin Jon Anderson. I actually seen them around 10 years ago play at the Mohegan Sun, excuse my stelling but it's a Casino in Mass.and they really did a great job there. But back to this video, why the fuck did they have Allen White playing off to the side and he looked like he was totally wasted but l don't think that was the case at all. Im a drummer and he couldn't even keep up with the intro. The other drummer was excellent but why did they put White out there, he was one of my all time favorite drummers and, l taught myself how to play drums and he was a big influence on my drumming to this day but l don't wanna have this video be what l remembered him like, but he wasn't ready to play drums maybe that night and maybe any other night. It was so sad to see him like that😢❤. Anyways, Steve Howe wasn't up to speed either, he just wasn't as smooth as he once was, his age is catching up with him and you can hear it in his finger work. But all in all , they played YES pretty freaking good. Cuz l dare any band to try and play The Gates as well as they did nevermind trying to play the Gates as well as a younger YES as they were in their prime.lol. Im gonna listen to the rest of the song, the singer just started singing. He's a good singer to sound like Anderson. Anyways, have a great day.....❤
RIP Alan White who just killed on the entire RELAYER album. But seeing (and hearing) this is pretty bad, even Howe himself can't play in time, the rest of the band is playing a lukewarm version of this amazing piece just like a third rate tribute band would. Without Squire and Anderson it's time to retire the name YES for good, if nothing else out of respect

I love this band so much, every iteration of it. Yes helped me expand my appreciation of music like no other group could.
Cool stuff with maestro Steve Howe! Thanks for posting!
Relayer album a prog rock masterpiece.
Well even tho it wasn’t really Yes they did jam out!¡!¡!¡!¡!
Age comes for everyone
Patrick Moraz song mostly
De zanger is niet verkeerd 👍
Honestly not as bad as I thought it would sound.
GENIAL!!!!
Lol. This is very pathetic. Yes died when Anderson left in 2007.
They have made it.

Lol. No Anderson, no Yes. Actually, this joke shoud be renamed Steve Howe Band. Pathetic tribute band. No Anderson, no Yes. Point.
