I remember that Victoria said in 2006 Beach House was already 3 years ago. They met in 2004 but Beach House was already existing
Beach House always creates a universe within the song, it's a total experience. One thing the songs have in common is this bittersweet melancholy, combined with a sensation of hope.

After listening to this song like 15 times already, I feel like this might be my new favorite beach house song, it's just so beautiful in every way, feels like a blend of various styles they've done in the past (big depression cherry vibes) but it sounds so fresh at the same time

I've never commented on a song of you before because I always felt I'd do it wrong with whatever I'd say about it. But I cannot shut down on this one any longer. It's maybe my favourite song like in general. It creates a feeling on me I cannot descirbe, a new feeling that touches and embraces my soul but at the same time exposes my fears and insecurities. From now on I will call this exact feeling ESP

Totally my feelings! It sounds crazy, but I feel like this song KNOWS how to strike those sensitive chords in my body and soul, just like a perfect piece of a puzzle. I feel like I'm at peace and so vulnerable at the same time.
It starts out like a lofi track, then becomes dreamlike, the “organ in a cathedral and angelic choir” type of dreamy - then it turns cinematic. Different kind of dreamy melodies all packed into one sublime track.

I just discovered this band a couple months ago. It feels like 'just in time'. I would not have wanted to be even one day late for this release. It's especially ambitious, and hits its mark... I'm just not positive where that mark is. It might be on some plane of abstract ideals.

I can never listen Beach House as an ambient. Anything else, yes but whenever Beach House comes along I just stop everything I am doing and delve into the music to venerate it.
I believe their Music is the closest we'll come to divinity and how they released the new album that tops everything they've done so far despite having done at least three 10/10
albums is really mind-blowing. I cannot describe the feelings I get while listening to this song and I cannot believe such music was even possible and I know everyone else here feels the same and the amount of joy and community I get from reading the comments is overwhelming!

I totally agree my friends with many comments i can find here. it is something magical in this strategy to play this old chord progression. how can you add something new into art (music) where there are no „news” at all. but i am not angry at music, it is the opposite. what is happening here, it makes me believe that there is some kind of emotion that can be poured into stuff you are recording. and for sure these two poured into this a lot of energy that before came out of my heart, for now to come back into the same place. depression cherry will always be the art that companied me to my greatest and biggest romance. i’d like to come back to this time, if i could i’d come to her house again and first thing that i would do would be to tear off all the petals from the rose that is in her mouth. have no tears no, maybe i am lying, i am not sure. wish her everything that is beautiful in life.
