Now for this video, with the showcase yesterday and the Demo also released, we got a good look at World Tour mode and there is some very interesting things to look at and talk about so well... lets talk about it! From some easter eggs, to some potential mysteries lets dig in!
It's not in World Tour, but the second arcade mode illustration they showed. The one where the Dudley looking fellow is shaving JP. If you put the video at x25 speed you can see an all you can be army poster on the left. Except it's not Uncle Sam but G doing the finger pointing. So it seems the president of the world is still around at the time of SF6.
the Panda sticker on Li-Fen's laptop is the same one that belongs to that jiangshi girl from Dalkstalkers franchise when she become playable in Pocket Fighters.
It's fun seeing all the extra little details and easter eggs in games. Personally, I like that there's more than one way to solve problems, or reach certain areas with special moves in World Tour. It makes it all the better for choosing your favorite masters! ^^
I like the concept of there being at least 2 moves that serve similar purposes for the master actions, it reminds me of octopath traveler 1 where there were essentially 4 path actions, but each had 2 versions, one that was always guaranteed but had level requirements, or one that had a chance to fail with punishment for failure but no outright prevention.
World Tour is giving me “Street Fighter: Xenoverse” vibes in the best way. Very Xenoverse-esque with all the Master and Student relationships to gain their moves to make your own mash-up character. Never thought SF could pull this open world mode off as well as it has, but it looks great 🤩
Right above the Abigail ad was an ad for Remy's rave place. This is the first Remy reference in a long while. I wonder if he'll finally come back as he, Necro and Twelve are the only people from 3rd strike not to return yet.

So, an interesting about the possible Agni and Rudra connection. Agni is another Hindu god, particularly the God of Fire. In some entries of Street Fighter lore, Agni is the one from whom Dhalsim get's his fire breath. Rudra's name may have been chosen to hint at a sort of connection or parallelism between himself and Dhalsim.
If Li-fen laptop a hint from Capcom that Darkstalkers is in the same universe with SF, then there's a possibility one of Darkstalkers character will be playable in SF 6 future DLC. A bit funny tho that SF became more and more like Capcom Fighting All Stars with all guest characters from Rival Schools, Final Fight, Strider, and maybe Darkstalkers.

Great video! Something I noticed in JP's victory animation, it is VERY similar to Q's in 3rd Strike. Where the 1st is he stepping on you and the 2nd other where he keeps walking... I still wonder if there's any relations between these two characters.
As much as i wish we had at least gotten all the Closed Beta characters in the demo, i gotta say; Even just running a few Luke/Ryu matches with my friends feels so good. As someone who never got to play the Beta, i was a little worried i wouldn't like the way the game felt, but everything is really fun. And this has just made me somehow even more excited to play the characters i'm actually interested in
Yeah, I wish the demo had at least 4 characters and maybe 1 more stage. But I’m still happy we got what we did ! Im also hoping for the open beta, do you think we should be expecting anything Roof?
almost for sure there won't be another beta right? if they were gonna do it they would have just done it instead of the demo, dont you think? maybe they will take a note from blizzard and do a "server smash" weekend

An expansion on what you were saying about Rudra at @9:20: Dhalsim is noted to have his fire powers from the Flame God Agni. So it's already in verse that Agni is a god. As for Rudra, maybe he's a NPC you can fight that'll have wind powers a la Rudra from DMC3 as well as Lily/Rashid? He could be a hint of the DLC expected with Rashid? Who knows. But, the idea that Agni is a god already and Rudra is this character could just go to show that he's not as major as Dhalsim.
Great that some Master Actions double up in functionality, but I'm mostly a single player content type of guy, so I'm gonna milk every little bit of content I can out of World Tour no matter how much I have to grind.
i’ve never seen a game (let alone a fighting game) absolutely nail EVERYTHING leading up to release, this game feels too good to be true and I’m hoping this is the big break for the new generation of the FGC!!
I can't find my previous comment, but I wanted to edit it and say that you CAN do team battle online. You can see it in the custom room settings part of the video.
Oh! It's because my previous comment included a screenshot URL. I'll repeat the info for you here. In the avatar creator section of the video that shows Haggar, you can see they added many extra skin colors. We previously only had the first 50 white and black shades, but they added many colorful shades up to 110 total. And in the section that shows the menus for team battle, you can pause the video to read the descriptions of the main modes, along with some other minor options. Two of the three main team battle modes have descriptions that sound like they support three or more human players.
Was listening while browsing through Canadian Tire, had the biggest smirk on my face when you proposed the possibility of Capcom adding a dating sim feature. The FGC reaction would be priceless. Also, unrelated, I hate that criminal Ken so much.
I think it's more of a case of, Capcom not wanting marvel characters to be in the main SF timeline. Alot of stuff wouldn't make sense if say the X-men were also running around in this universe.
Street Fighter 6 = The first Open World Fighting Game. Capcom is once again innovating the genre. I hope Tekken 8 and MK12 come with similar things like the Konquest Mode from the 3D era MK games or Scenario Campaign from Tekken 6.

Like if they add sakura and they add the arcade she works at with playable cabinets. Or if they add makoto and her dojo with new training mini games. I hope they keep expanding. It also adds incentive to people to get DLC characters just so they can unlock moves for their avatar too and have them as a master in world tour. Online avatar battles seem really fun and broken too. Can't wait to see people's crazy creations Duke it out. This is all really refreshing after only playing ranked and training for 1000s of hours. Even though I'm still going to do that anyways😅. Usually when I start to feel a bit burntout ill play an RPG. Might just end up staying right here. Hope they have a lot of story and lore stuff. This and final fantasy 16 are my most anticipated games this year.
I really, really want abigail back no cap. Imagine like auto business bigwig abigail, in a suit with the sleeves ripped off and the tires where they should be. His level 3 could be him getting a call mid fight, getting angry at the caller and channeling the rage into beating you down.
I wonder how much storage of Street Fighter 6 is to going to pack when it launches in June. With all the world tour, fighting ground, battle hub, the crazy amount of single and multiplayer content this game contains, I assume the storage is gonna be like 100+ gigabytes or something.
Was honestly dis-appointed by the Demo being as limited as it was considering we're a handful of weeks out form the game, but everything else about this presentation was great World Tour is looking more like what I wanted out of the Krypt from MK11. A cool concept, just not being outright ruined by drip fed "engagement"

But I'm happy to see Capcom bring final fight characters back. Now what about rival school & some vampire hunter dark stalkers. A dlc side story with them would be a blessing. Roof....so technically, you can be your avatar and learn ALL the Fighters' move? Many special moves use the same joystick combinations...so HOW will the PC know which special move you want to execute?!
You can learn them all, but can only map one move per command. Which sounds like you could for instance make a haduken a charge move and have sonic boom as a qcf
you can learn them all, but you can only have so many equipped at a time. I have a feeling that moves with overlapping inputs will be exclusive to each other. So Sand Blast or Hadouken, but not both.
Hey, while its not an easter egg, I spot something related to Zangief during the showcase of Nayshall, some NPC who you fight has Zangief's counter but she countered a punch with a different animation. Does this mean Zangief hasa new counter as well?

Demo shot my hype back up to 12. The way they put you on the path to 'strength' by 'taking on the streets' and 'hitting the grind' it hits that real life skill equivalent of hard work to get better. Beginners can pick it up and learn, and who knows how good they can get by the end. Just over a month, everybody. Let's tighten our belts and get our shoes on... This is gonna be a hell of a trip.
I’m curious why people are mentioning the SF6’s “cracked” beta and I’m still new to it. Is it some kind of a test where people have unlimited access on PC, with cursed mods and all?
So a while back there was a closed beta which was ment to last a few days and go away. Some people cracked it so that they could have more time to train than others. Its a dick move and capcom was like naaah we aint doing that again so they gave us this demo so that it cant be cracked since there's not enough for the hardcore players to train on it.

Access to Ryu and Luke and having training mode lets you practice and learn all the games mechanics for the next 2 months. Yes there is training mode. You just go to the tutorial and not do what it says and you can train as much as you want. Just pick the one that has unlimited super and you're good to go
@@ADreamingTraveler what I mean by that its that hardcore players prefer to train directly with the characters. And most of them already know the basics of fighting games. So having luke and ryu is less interesting for them than it is for a casual or someone thats new. Mind you I put myself in the casual category so I dont mind it and honstely I'm quite excited to get my hands on it. Two things can be true at the same time. It can be great for normal player to learn fundamentals but also not as interesting for hardcore players who already know most of what you can learn in the demo. Heave a great day
you can navigate battle hub with a stick, its a bit annoying but its doable. However that said controller is the way they absolutely intend you to play it

According to steam the recommended storage space is 60 Gigs (probably for base game without any DLC)

But I'm happy to see Capcom bring final fight characters back. Now what about rival school & some vampire hunter dark stalkers. A dlc side story with them would be a blessing. When it comes to Dark stalkers; Capcom just put out the same ports over & over

Roof....so technically, you can be your avatar and learn ALL the Fighters' move? Many special moves use the same joystick combinations...so HOW will the PC know which special move you want to execute?!
You can learn them all, but can only map one move per command. Which sounds like you could for instance make a haduken a charge move and have sonic boom as a qcf
you can learn them all, but you can only have so many equipped at a time. I have a feeling that moves with overlapping inputs will be exclusive to each other. So Sand Blast or Hadouken, but not both.

Hey, while its not an easter egg, I spot something related to Zangief during the showcase of Nayshall, some NPC who you fight has Zangief's counter but she countered a punch with a different animation. Does this mean Zangief hasa new counter as well?

for the demo you can only use lukes moveset in world tour, its only chapter 1 of the game. In the other modes you can only use ryu/luke

Demo shot my hype back up to 12. The way they put you on the path to 'strength' by 'taking on the streets' and 'hitting the grind' it hits that real life skill equivalent of hard work to get better. Beginners can pick it up and learn, and who knows how good they can get by the end. Just over a month, everybody. Let's tighten our belts and get our shoes on... This is gonna be a hell of a trip.

I’m curious why people are mentioning the SF6’s “cracked” beta and I’m still new to it.
Is it some kind of a test where people have unlimited access on PC, with cursed mods and all?
So a while back there was a closed beta which was ment to last a few days and go away. Some people cracked it so that they could have more time to train than others. Its a dick move and capcom was like naaah we aint doing that again so they gave us this demo so that it cant be cracked since there's not enough for the hardcore players to train on it.

Access to Ryu and Luke and having training mode lets you practice and learn all the games mechanics for the next 2 months. Yes there is training mode. You just go to the tutorial and not do what it says and you can train as much as you want. Just pick the one that has unlimited super and you're good to go
@@ADreamingTraveler what I mean by that its that hardcore players prefer to train directly with the characters. And most of them already know the basics of fighting games. So having luke and ryu is less interesting for them than it is for a casual or someone thats new. Mind you I put myself in the casual category so I dont mind it and honstely I'm quite excited to get my hands on it. Two things can be true at the same time. It can be great for normal player to learn fundamentals but also not as interesting for hardcore players who already know most of what you can learn in the demo.
