One time when my riding instructor was trying to show us how she rides her horse bareback she accidentally sprayed show sheen on her horses entire body
Great video, last time I tried to cut my horses mane he looked really goofy for about 2 months until it grew back but I'm going to try again with this method
The traditional way to deal with manes and tails, in England anyway, is to “pull” them. It takes time, little and often being the watchword. Never let scissors or clippers anywhere near manes and tails. May look all right when freshly done but soon looks dreadful unless you really want to do it on a daily basis.
How to make such perfect mane in the first place? Did you train it to lie on one side with braids? My mare's mane lies to one side perfectly up the middle of the neck, then it goes half on one side and half on the other. I tried to train it and it works for a short while. Am I supposed to train it all the time? D:
do you need to wash the spray out with water ? I feel like that should not stay on the mane because it's going to wet or something like that. Do I need to wash it out, the show seen
Your horse is absolutely gorgeous. Good job 😊
Wonderful ! Thanks a lot for your tips ❤
Useful video, I've been competing for years but getting the perfect mane has always alluded me, I'll try doing it this way today!
Awesome ! :)
Very helpful video. Very few people describe how to find a good stopping height, neckbone. Also the tip to brush the hair back and forth, very nice!
Thank you so much for your comment !! We love finding out and sharing great tips :)

Yea, my daughter did that and then proceeded to attempt to ride and her and her saddle slid off.
Great video! I’m going to try this method with my horse today!

looks great!
Thinning Scissors give a nicer line, the ones that are serrated both sides.
I subscribed!! I can see you being a very good CZcamsd later on! ❤️
Miss Eventing thank you so much!! 🥰
I would recommend standing on a toolbox that could break or Tip over and you could fall off and if the horse Get scared you might get trampled.
Thank you. I have wanted very much to learn this technique. My mare thanks you too.
beautiful 🥰
Great thanks
Yaaay.. I don't like the idea of "rippin" out the Horses mane either. Ta for this video - your a clever gurrl :)

the 45 degree angle is what I didn't know. Cheers.

no show sheen you leave in
Is the spray you use similar to just mane spray or is it especially for cutting?
Uniqueorn Baby show sheen is usually used for shows. It makes their tail and mane shiny and smooth so it’s also good for cutting.
@@worried_sickk5811 thank you! Did it without it haha but had someone supervise me so now it looks good too
Yes, we use (and recommend) Show Sheen!! 👌
Can you do a Mohawk?
That's called roaching or hogging the mane.
