Awesome breakdown! You explained "reinforced falsetto" to me better than ANY singing coach on youtube. Thank you!
Be sure to check out Voice Lessons To The World episode number 43 for another lesson on reinforced falsetto.
This voice used in this video is pretty close. But make sure Elmo’s voice isn’t always high pitched. The laugh seemed a little off due to the “ hehehe” it’s more of a ”hahaha” when he laughs. Also don’t forget Elmo has different tones to his voice and a pretty wide vocal range especially for singing. Watch some interviews of Elmo and Kevin clash and you’ll see the difference in his voice and the voice used in the video but overall pretty darn close! 🙂

I have falsetto but i lose that falsetto after i sing high in chest or mixed voice. Please i wanna know whats going on.
Hi Sanidhya! Sometimes this happens when we're too "strong" in our lower registers and our vocal cords swell. Or, sometimes we're just feeling the disparity even though nothing is wrong. Check out episodes 114 and 115. Maybe working on your Mix can help! :) Keep up the great work! -NYVC

Can you give us a little more information @max powers? Are you using this particular voice or another one and just asking how to not have your throat hurt? We can try to help if you know exactly what you want to do, but our recommendation is always go to a professional live so that they can hear and correct any potentially damaging behaviors you may be ingraining in the voice. -NYVC
