Holy crap, this video is MUCH better than I thought it would be. You went in to a lot of necessary detail, you have a flawless Sméagol/Gollum impression, and a video that is informative and entertaining rather than just informative.

Didn't Sauron pour in his malice and will to dominate in to the ring? Therefore the Lord of the rings indirectly corrupts Smeagol, if that is what he said.

This may sound silly, but if any metal vocalists are watching this -- the resonance thing shown here is a great example of how you can drastically alter your vocals for effect. Give it a try and you'll see what I mean.

I watched Lord Of The Rings for the first time the other day. I love Gollum; he is so cute!
My voice is a bit limited to changing its affect. I tried talking like him this morning. 'He tricksed us'. The precious, yes, yes.
Prosody is quite important for evil characters in order to show how diabolical they are. Regardless of resonance some voices seem to have low pitch and sinister voices to sound conniving while others have moments of launching their pitch high like crazy whenever they become wild to show their maniacal insanity and lack of self control

I do these voices effortlessly without learning, thinking I have missed a career opportunity here…
Gollum’s compression might be variable but I’d probably say it would be the safest bet to try to stay on the decompressed side with the vocal cords as much as possible because Gollums voice is probably breathy way more often than not.

you need to get it less high pitched and more deep and rumbling, best advise is to tear you voice (expression it just feels kina like tearing, not in bad way) and watch scenes
