I tried opening the standalone flash from the swj file using multiple methods, but none of them worked, can you make a tutorial on how to do that now that flash isn’t being supported?

The future in uncertain but I hope we can use some sort of old browser version in the future. I have a lot of the same ideas as said in your video. Well its been a little over 2 years and many flash games (especially speedrunning ones) still have a speedrunning scene, some games even got a bigger player base because of flash going away, as it gave attention to flash games again, and us early late 90's - early 2k's wanted to feel nostalgia before it was terminated. I almost feel bad for zoomers, they'll never get to experience the joy of flash.

apparently y8 has it's own browser that supports flash. I don't know how many games it will support but when I searched a random flash game but it said to download it, and it is a way to play flash games on a browser in 2021 edit: the basilisk browser that flashpoint uses also supports flash.
in my opinion, it's most likely when people started playing Fortnite, since over 70% of ppl were playing flash in 2017, and only 17% played flash in 2019.
while yes there's a time window to this, do it too after some time and you get SSL Certificates expiring and the browser not wanting to connect, however the more pressing thing is that browsers are forcibly disabling flash. Firefox looks to do so in version 85, Jan 26th. And chromium-base (Chrome, Opera, Edge et al.) Look to have disabled flash support now with Chrome 88 being merged into stable on the 19th. Any chromium-based browsers if not now will remove flash support in the next immediate chromium update.
From personal experience, if you had disabled Windows updates beforehand it will work too. And if it's too late, just look up Ruffle, it's an extension that lets you run flash.
I want to point out that Club Penguin speedrunning is still active, but not on the original leaderboards. Since Club Penguin was such a big game no private server can perfectly recreate it which is part of the reason to leave the old leaderboard as it is. As you mention, accurately running games may become an issue in the future. Some alternative Flash players may never be completely reliable.
just doing some kingdom rush speedruns on standalone flash, cause the premium content (which has a massive timesave help) cannot be purchased anymore and flashpoint hasnt added it yet (also Ironhide doesnt care about the flash version anymore, so isnt a issue)
Nitrome could just sell their classics on Steam and bring in a fuck ton of money that way. I don't think they understand how widespread their games were. I don't even remember their name, but their intro was immediately recognizable. (I'm pretty sure being based on Flash does not disqualify a game from being sold on Steam, right?)
I don't know about you but, flash runs flawlessly on Firefox for me? Also @ItsMaximum, where do you think you could find the best version of Red Ball 4 for pc?

I have always used the Flash player projector for playing flash games offline. Its really great.
Newer versions have the same killswitch as browser Flash.

One of my favourite and first flash games was Zombotron. Which was made into a proper full on steam game. The only thing bad about it is the ending.
Fun fact: You can still play Flash games if you change your PC's date to anything before January 12
