Celina has always been a small, more rural town. In previous years many people decided to relocate to Celina to escape all of the chaos of living in Dallas and the surrounding DFW metro, while still being within driving distance of the Dallas itself. But let me be clear, that has changed.
The DFW metro continues to see a ton of growth, and as people continue to move here, living in the north Dallas suburbs has been one of the more popular places to relocate to. First, it was living in Frisco Texas. Frisco boomed from a cowtown to now being a population of over 220,000 people. Living in Prosper was next. And now, with population continuing to rise, more and more homes are being built in Celina, and huge plans are being put in place to turn Celina into a bigger and better version of Frisco. But with that, there are many cons that one needs to consider before moving to Celina Texas and buying a home in Celina.
